This study aims to identify studies in the field of Islamic education politics, which then analyzes the role of the government in formulating Islamic education policies and methods to provide access to quality education from the perspective of the SDGs agenda. This research is a type of SLR methodology with a qualitative approach. We used index searches (SINTA, SCOPUS, DOAJ, Proceedings International) to select and evaluate by obtaining 21 books and 45 relevant article documents. The results of this study highlight that the political area of Islamic education has boundaries that lead to curriculum policies, budgets, institutions, and the professionalism of educators. Then, to create an Islamic education method in achieving the SDGs agenda on quality education, the role of the government and educational institutions must prioritize seven main points, namely: ensuring fair access to education, eliminating discrimination, ensuring free education, increasing lifelong learning opportunities, increasing the fulfillment of the education budget, strengthening the professionalism of educators, and strengthening the development of character education. This study can be the basis for taking a strategy for Islamic education policy relevant to the socio-cultural context of the diverse Indonesian society. By prioritizing a holistic approach, Islamic education policy contributes to developing superior human resources and a sustainable modern society.

A Netnographic Study: Construction of AI-Based Learning Media Training on pintar.kemenag.go.id

This research was conducted to find out how the construction carried out by community participants of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Learning Media Training on the pintar.kemenag.go.id application or website facilitated by Badan Litbang dan Diklat Kementerian Agama RI as a virtual training medium. Using the netnography method, researchers try to reveal and analyze the way community participants present the "digital-self". Netnography describes how experience and learning are carried out virtually through the "repetition of experience" that occurs among members/participants in online communities. The AI-based Learning Media Training is constructed as a free and flexible community virtual training. This virtual training is designed to help the general public who are highly motivated to join the training. Training without physical contact and new media influence the construction of a virtual training. The construction can be seen through 3 aspects, namely: internalization, objectivation, and externalization. This research can be concluded to be very liked and considered very helpful in contemporary and useful training, analyzed from the number of comments and reviews of 4,503 and likes through the 4.9 stars icon with details of the number of 5 stars = 4,221; 4 stars = 244; 3 stars = 24; 2 stars = 2; and 1 star = 12 given by participants to the information or material published. The overall score for this training is 94% which is categorized as excellent.

Adaptive technology in education offers an innovative solution to enhance learning quality by personalizing instructional materials according to students’ needs. This study aims to analyze the potential of adaptive technology in Indonesia’s education system and identify its implementation challenges. Using a literature review method, this research examines various studies on the application of adaptive technology in education, particularly within the "Merdeka Belajar" framework. The findings indicate that adaptive technology can enhance student engagement, facilitate data-driven learning, and assist teachers in accurately identifying student difficulties. However, major challenges in its implementation include limited infrastructure, gaps in digital literacy among educators, and cultural resistance to technology in education. To address these barriers, strategic measures such as strengthening digital infrastructure, implementing TPACK-based teacher training, and educating communities about the benefits of adaptive technology are necessary. With these recommendations, adaptive technology is expected to be effectively integrated into Indonesia’s education system, fostering more inclusive, flexible, and high-quality learning.


The Contribution of Aqidah Education to the Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency in Islamic Schools

This study examines the contribution of aqidah education to preventing juvenile delinquency in Islamic schools through the literature review method. Aqidah education is considered necessary in shaping students' positive character, spiritual awareness, and religious identity, all of which play a role in reducing deviant behavior. Data was obtained from various relevant journal articles in the last ten years. The study results show that aqidah education effectively strengthens students' moral and ethical values, such as honesty and responsibility, and increases spiritual awareness that helps self-control. In addition, aqidah education also builds positive characters, such as discipline and empathy, and strengthens religious identities that make students more firm in Islamic principles. These findings underscore the importance of developing relevant aqidah education curricula, increasing student involvement in spiritual activities, and teacher training in teaching aqidah. Thus, aqidah education significantly prevents juvenile delinquency and forms students with character and integrity through Islamic teachings.

This study aimed to collect and analyze articles related to Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences theory and its implementation in Islamic education in Indonesia, as well as to identify research gaps. The method used was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with meta-synthesis data analysis techniques. The selected articles were published between 2016 and 2024 and chosen as the subjects of the study. These articles were gathered through search engines such as Google Scholar, Scopus.com, and Elicit.ai. The data analysis techniques employed were both quantitative and qualitative. The analysis results indicated that the implementation of Multiple Intelligences in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teaching successfully improved student achievement and encourages teachers to teach creatively, using methods such as demonstrations, role-playing, the use of ICT, outdoor learning, and student motivation. Additionally, this implementation fosters critical thinking, problem-solving learning, creative thinking, and communicative learning. The implementation of Multiple Intelligences in PAI also aligned with the concept of fitrah. Further research is recommended to broadly review the implementation of Multiple Intelligences in Islamic education.

Islamic education has been a fundamental aspect of Muslim society, shaping individuals' values, beliefs, and behaviors. In the contemporary era, the educational landscape is rapidly evolving, demanding reflection on Islamic education's current state and future projections to remain relevant and transformative. This article examines changes in Islamic education through literature analysis and SWOT, highlighting the need for integrating modern subjects such as science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics within the Islamic education framework. The research employs a qualitative approach with literature studies collected from academic databases such as Google Scholar, JSTOR, and ProQuest. Data is analyzed using the SWOT method to assess the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of Islamic education. The findings reveal that Islamic education faces significant challenges such as a lack of innovative teaching methods, limited resources, and unequal access to quality education. However, there are substantial opportunities in technological advancements, increasing global awareness, and potential partnerships with international institutions. Transforming Islamic education requires innovation in teaching methods, adopting interactive and contextual approaches, and utilizing information and communication technology to enhance engagement and educational relevance. Islamic education must also address contemporary social issues such as social justice, environmental sustainability, and ethical leadership, enabling students to develop into responsible global citizens with strong moral and spiritual integrity. This article aims to contribute to the academic discussion on Islamic education and encourage more adaptive and transformative educational practices.


Peningkatan Motivasi Belajar Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing student learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) and formulate strategies for improving motivation that can be applied in the context of IRE teaching in schools. Using a library research approach, this study reviews various literature on learning motivation theories and their application in IRE teaching. The findings indicate that student learning motivation is influenced by internal factors, such as self-efficacy and interest in the subject matter, as well as external factors, including social support from teachers, parents, and peers. The application of learning strategies that are relevant to students' life experiences and the use of educational technology has proven effective in enhancing student learning motivation in IRE. Furthermore, learning approaches that emphasize student active involvement and allow them to find personal meaning in religious materials have proven to be more effective in increasing their motivation. The integration of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation in a balanced way can enhance the meaningfulness of IRE learning, which, in turn, improves students' understanding and practice of religious teachings in their daily lives. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dan merumuskan strategi peningkatan motivasi yang dapat diterapkan dalam konteks pembelajaran PAI di sekolah. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kajian pustaka (library research), penelitian ini menganalisis berbagai literatur tentang teori motivasi belajar dan penerapannya dalam pembelajaran PAI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal, seperti keyakinan diri (self-efficacy) dan minat terhadap materi, serta faktor eksternal, seperti dukungan sosial dari guru, orang tua, dan teman sebaya. Penerapan strategi pembelajaran yang relevan dengan kehidupan siswa dan pemanfaatan teknologi pendidikan terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI. Selain itu, pembelajaran yang mengedepankan keterlibatan aktif siswa serta memungkinkan mereka menemukan makna dalam materi agama terbukti lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar mereka. Pengintegrasian motivasi intrinsik dan ekstrinsik secara seimbang dapat meningkatkan kebermaknaan pembelajaran PAI, yang pada gilirannya dapat memperbaiki pemahaman dan pengamalan ajaran agama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari siswa.

Abstrak: Pendidikan agama Islam memiliki peran krusial dalam membentuk pemahaman individu tentang nilai-nilai dan konsep-konsep agama islam. Dalam konteks globalisasi yang terus berkembang, kebutuhan akan pemahaman yang inklusif terhadap keragaman agama semakin mendesak. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi potensi integrasi konsep Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) ke dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep agama. Melalui pendekatan analisis SWOT, kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman dari penerapan strategi pembelajaran ini dieksplorasi secara mendalam. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa SRL memungkinkan siswa untuk mengembangkan keterampilan belajar mandiri, meningkatkan refleksi diri, dan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai agama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari mereka. Namun, tantangan seperti tingkat kemandirian siswa yang beragam dan kebutuhan akan dukungan guru yang kuat juga diidentifikasi. Berdasarkan temuan ini, beberapa rekomendasi diberikan, termasuk pengembangan kurikulum yang lebih terintegrasi dengan SRL, pelatihan guru yang lebih intensif, dan integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Artikel ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman tentang bagaimana pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis SRL dapat digunakan secara efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep agama Islam, serta menawarkan panduan bagi pendidik dan peneliti dalam menghadapi tantangan dan memanfaatkan peluang dalam konteks pendidikan agama Islam.Abstract: Islamic religious education is crucial in shaping an individual's understanding of Islamic values and concepts. In the context of ever-evolving globalization, the need for an inclusive sense of religious diversity is increasingly urgent. This article explores the potential integration of Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) into Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning as a solution to improve understanding of religious concepts. The strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of implementing this learning strategy are explored in depth through a SWOT analysis approach. The results show that SRL allows students to develop self-study skills, enhance self-reflection, and integrate religious values into their daily lives. However, challenges such as diverse levels of student independence and the need for solid teacher support were also identified. Based on these findings, several recommendations were given, including developing a curriculum that is more integrated with SRL, more intensive teacher training, and integrating technology in Learning. This article contributes to understanding how SRL-based learning approaches can be used effectively to enhance understanding of Islamic religious concepts, as well as offer guidance for educators and researchers facing challenges and seizing opportunities in the context of Islamic religious education.


Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Kategori Fakir Miskin Melalui Program Peningkatan Kesejahteraan Berbasis Masjid

Fakir miskin merupakan orang yang membutuhkan santunan untuk kelangsungan hidup, kehadiran para aghniya (yang mampu) sangat diharapkan untuk mengurangi kesulitan hidup fakir miskin melalui pemberian makanan (tha’am al-miskin). Hal ini bertujuan untuk peningkatan kesejahteraan fakir miskin yang diwujudkan dalam program pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis Masjid di Kabupaten Bener Meriah. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Reasearch (PAR). Program pemberdayaan masyarakat oleh jama’ah Masjid Agung Babussalam Bener Meriah ini dinamakan Ahad Berkah, yang mana program ini adalah wujud dari kesadaran spiritual dan kesadaran sosial masyarakat setempat. Kebermanfaatan program Ahad Berkah tersebut sangat bermanfaat di tengah masyarakat, sehingga diharapkan dapat terus berlanjut dan dikembangkan lebih baik lagi, sehingga lebih dapat dirasakan langsung secara optimal oleh para masyarakat yang berhak menerima santunan Ahad Berkah ini dan dapat menjadi role model bagi masyarakat wilayah sekitar.
