Class XII metabolic material has its own level of difficulty compared to other materials, because the material is difficult for the eye to perceive directly and involves a long process of enzymatic reactions. Metabolism learning at SMA Negeri 1 Karangkobar is less interactive causing students to be less critical in understanding material concepts. One alternative to improve critical thinking skills is the DISTAD Learning model (integration of the Discovery Learning model and the Student Teams Achievement Division model). The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of the DISTAD Learning model on metabolic material on high school students' critical thinking skills. This research is a quantitative research with the type of experimental research using the Pre-Experimental Design in the form of one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study were students of class XII MIPA 1 to XII MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Karangkobar for the academic year 2022/2023. Sampling was carried out using saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique used the test method and the students' critical thinking skills were tested with the One Sample T-test. The increase in students' critical thinking skills was seen from the average student score after participating in the DISTAD Learning model learning of 78.6 which was included in the high category with 76% of students obtaining grades ≥ KKM. Based on the calculation of the N-Gain test, there was an increase in three aspects of students' critical thinking skills, namely the aspect of giving simple explanations of 0.54, the aspect of making conclusions by 0.38, and the aspect of making further explanations of 0.61, where in the third This aspect shows the moderate category. In the analysis of the One Samples T-test showed a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). The conclusion of this study is that the application of the DISTAD Learning model is effective in increasing the critical thinking skills of high school students.

Visual media are tools used to deliver information to students, especially on material that cannot be sensed directly by humans. One of them is the material of the human respiratory system. The purpose of this study is to analyze the improvment of the replica of human respiration system in improving student’s interpretation skills. This research is an experimental study with a quasy experimental design with a sample size of 78 students. The method of collecting data on interpretation skills uses a multiplechoice test instrument with a total of 20 questions. The data were analyzed quantitatively using the independent sample t-test. The improvment of this study is determined by the following indicators: 1) classical completeness class 50%, 2) N-gain value is in the moderate category, and 3) there is a significant average difference between the control and the experimental class. The results of this study indicate that the classical completeness in the experimental class is higher than the control class. The N-gain value of the experimental class is in the medium category and the control class is in the low category. The results of the average difference test of the two groups showed a significant difference between the average learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control class. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the replica of human respiratory system is improving students' interpretation skills.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of visual media human coordination system to improve students' metacognition and concept mastery in learning with the group investigation model. The research was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Ungaran for the academic year 2021/2022. The research method used is an experimental research method with quasi-experimental type two group pretest-posttest with control design. Sampling was done by purposive sampling. Class XI MIPA 5 as the experimental group used the visual media human coordination system in learning with the GI model and class XI MIPA 6 as the control group used video and PPT in learning with the GI model. The effectiveness of the visual media human coordination system in learning with the Group Investigation (GI) model to improve metacognition ability was determined from hypothesis testing, there was a significant difference in metacognitive ability between the experimental class and the control class. The effectiveness of the visual media human coordination system in learning with the Group Investigation (GI) model to improve students' conceptual mastery skills is determined by the criteria, 1) Achievement of KKM, 2) Obtaining N-Gain, and 3) There are significant differences in the results of students' concept mastery between the experimental class and control class. The results of the metacognitive ability hypothesis test showed that there was no significant difference in the metacognitive ability of the experimental class and the control class. The results of the concept mastery ability showed that the experimental and control class classical mastery > 75% with the increase in students' classical mastery in the experimental class which was higher than the control class. The results of the N-gain test showed that the students' mastery of concepts in the experimental class had reached the criteria. The results of the hypothesis test showed that there was a significant difference in the mastery of the concept of the experimental class and the control class. The conclusion of this study is that the visual media of the human coordination system in learning with the GI model is effective in increasing the ability to master concepts but is not effective in increasing students' metacognitive abilities.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of the problem-based learning model assisted by the circulation system visual aid to improve cognitive abilities and the activity of expressing high school students' opinions. This research is an experimental study with a quasi-experimental design with a two group pretest-posttest type with control group design. The population of this study were all students of class XI MIPA SMA N 1 Purwodadi which consisted of 7 classes. The samples of this research were students of class XI MIPA 2 and XI MIPA 3. Sampling was done using simple random sampling technique. The research data is in the form of cognitive ability test results and the results of observation of students' opinions expressed activities. Methods of data collection using tests (multiple choice questions pretest and posttest ) and observation sheets. The results showed that the cognitive abilities of students in the experimental class had increased based on the N-gain calculation, which was 0.53 which was in the medium category. The activity of expressing students' opinions has also increased. The percentage of activeness in expressing opinions was initially only 2.78%, increasing to 100%. The conclusion of this study is that the PBL model assisted by the circulation system visual media is effective for improving students' cognitive abilities and activities to express opinions.
