Migraine is one of the most prevalent causes of functional disability worldwide. Migraine patients experience headaches of varying degrees, which are related with a higher level of disability and are triggered by psychological and physiological stressors. Migraine is estimated to affect 16.6% of the world's population, with women being three times more likely to experience it than men. Despite considerable advancements in modern and traditional medicine, a complete cure remains uncertain. In Ayurvedic treatises, migraine headache is referred to as Ardhavabedhaka under the classification of Shiroroga (diseases related to the head region). 35-year-old Indian male police inspector, suffering from recurrent right hemi-cranial headaches once in three days for the last three months, presented symptoms of Tridhoshaja Ardhvabhedaka (Migraine) associated with Amlapitta (hyperacidity). After a thorough assessment of the patient, the treatment was meticulously planned based on the patient's Dosha pradhanyatha and Vyadhi avastha(stage of disease). For the proper Samprapti vighatana, Nidana parivarjana (abstinance from the eitiological factors), Deepana, Paachana, Siravyadha, Nasya and Dosha ShamanaChikitsa principles were adopted. Further, the severity of the migraine was assessed by MIDAS and NPR score, which subsequently decreased from 19 to 4, and the NPR scale decreased from 8 to 2 till completion of the therapeutic intervention. This case report unequivocally highlights the pivotal role of the Ayurveda treatment regimen in effectively managing migraine. Overall, effective treatment of migraine cases requires the correct assessment of Dosha status and Vyadhi avastha and the correct selection of the appropriate medicine and procedures like Siravyadha and Nasya at that appropriate stage of the disease.

BACKGROUND The Tridhaatu Garbha Pottali (TGP) Rasayana is a formulation that may not be widely known, but it is prepared using the Gandhaka Drava Paka method of Pottali preparation. It has been reportedly used in the treatment of various conditions, including Putimeha ( Pyorrhea ), Pradara ( Leukorrhea ), and Shukra Dosha (seminal abnormalities). Despite its potential benefits, no current research is being conducted on the synthesis and characterization of this formulation. An attempt was made to standardize the method of preparation of TGP Rasayana as mentioned in Rasayogasagar (a classical text of Rasashastra ), and nanoparticle (NP) characterization was carried out alongside classical and physicochemical parameters. Presesent study aimed to standardize TGP Rasayana preparation method and analyze for Nanoparticle Characterization. METHODS TGP Rasayana is a Pottali Rasayana prepared using the Gandhaka Paaka technique, amalgamating Shuddha Parada , Shuddha Swarna , Shuddha Gandhaka , along with Bhasmas of Naga , Vanga , and Yashadha . Swarna-Parada Dhatu Pishti (fusion) was prepared first, followed by the addition of Gandhaka . Then, the Bhasmas of Naga , Vanga , and Yashada were added, well mixed using trituration method, and Kumari Swarasa Bhavana was administered. The resulting TGP Kajjali was given a conical shape and dried, and Pottali was wrapped in four-folded silk material with Gandhaka in between. Pottali Paka was performed in Mritpatra using the Gandhaka Paaka method, placing it in a Valuka Yantra and subjecting it to Mridvagni for 8 h to obtain all Pottali Siddha Lakshana . Then, the obtained TGP Rasayana was analyzed for classical and instrumental parameters, physicochemical parameters, and sophisticated instrumental analyses such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray (EDX), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and Raman spectra. RESULTS TGP possessed all classical parameters of Pottali . XRD confirms the presence of HgS, PbS, SnO 2 , and ZnO. SEM images show the agglomerated appearance of TGP particles. Energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDAX) confirms the presence of sulfur, zinc, tin, mercury, and lead as major elements, with gold as minor elements. FTIR shows the presence of organic sulphate, aliphatic amines, and alkyl halides. CONCLUSION The TGP Rasayana that has been prepared contains various NPs that possess functional groups, thus making it a highly effective therapeutic medicine with the properties of nanomedicine.

Alopecia areata (AA) is a T-cell-mediated autoimmune illness characterized by intermittent, non-scarring hair loss, Alopecia totalis(AT) is a type of AA characterized by total hair loss on the face and scalp. Unfortunately, it is projected that 10–15 % of people with AA will advance to total hair loss on the scalp (AT) or hair loss on the scalp and body Alopecia Universalis (AU) only 10 % of patients with AT/AU recover completely. Treatment for severe AA is often unsatisfactory. The most popular AT/AU therapy techniques were topical steroid application and oral steroid administration. We present a case of Alopecia totalis that was treated with cupping therapy and ayurvedic treatments such as Punarnava Mandoor, manjistadi Kashaya, asanadi gana Kashaya, purnachandrodaya rasa, a churna combo, and Malatyadi and Dhurdhurapatradi taila for external application over scalp. The treatment's effectiveness is due to the synergistic action of all the herbs and the immunostimulant activity of cupping.

Rasayana is a specialised technique that includes rejuvenating recipes, nutritional regimens, and behaviours to boost one's health. Scientific studies have proven its usefulness in managing chronic lifestyle-related illnesses and degenerative alterations. Thuvaraka rasayana is an Ayurvedic herbal formulation that promotes overall health and well-being. Chaulmoogra oil is used internally and externally in Ayurvedic medicine to treat skin diseases. Khadhirasadhitha Thuvaraka Rasayana is a specialised preparation explained by Sushruta acharya mainly in the management of Kushta and Prameha as Naimittika rasayana in different doses based on roga and rogibala. As the Thuvaraka has the ubhaya marga doshaharana property, its utility is well established based on Ayurvedic principles in the management of Kushta, as in this disease, there is a need for repeated shodhana. The Thuvaraka Rasayana regimen is one such modality where doshaharana and Rasayana benefits are achieved at the same time.
