... AHP involves breaking down a decision problem into a hierarchical structure of criteria and alternatives, which helps decision makers evaluate and prioritize various factors in a systematic way. As reported by [55], AHP is one of the most widely applied multicriteria decision analysis (MCDA) tools because it incorporates some of the following: AHP (i) offers the ability to analyze conflicting preferences [56]; (ii) allows for quantifying and comparing the qualitative opinions of stakeholders [57]; (iii) provides the ability to transform intangible factors into numerical values [58]; and (4) facilitates the systematic evaluation of the weights of selected factors in pairs across a range [59].
