A taxonomic revision of the species Anthaxia setipennis Obenberger, 1928 from Pakistan is performed. Sample was collected during survey conducted for the collection of Coleoptera from Azad Kashmir, Pakistan in 2010. This sample is kept in Zoological Museum of the Karachi University. The present study deals with the detailed taxonomical description and the species was compared with a closely related species.

A new record of Coleoptera species Agrilus zigzag Marseul, 1866 that belongs to the subfamily Agrilinae Lacordaire, 1857 of Family Buprestidae Leach, 1815 collected from NARC Garden, Islamabad, Pakistan in 2005 has been made. The present study provides a detailed morphological and taxonomical description of the newly collected specimen.

A survey was conducted during 2005 to end of November 2013 in various provinces of Pakistan including Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwah as well as Azad Kashmir and Tribal areas (Kurram Agency) on Jewels beetles, to collect and determine their taxonomic study. This paper is preliminary study on the species diversity of family Buprestidae. A total of 22 newly recorded species of family Buprestidae (subfamily Buprestinae, chalcophorinae, Julodinae) were collected and identified base on this survey.

Members of the family Buprestidae were collected from different areas of Pakistan such as Jamshoro, Tori Phatak,Hyderabad, Karachi, Thar desert, Mithi, Naushki, Bampur, Quetta, Wah Garden,Murree, Fatehjung,Azad Kashmir, Muzafferabad, Panjkot,,Qalandarabad,Swat, Kalam and Parachinar.The specimens were collected by beating branches of trees and bushes by using sweep net and hand picking methods. Buprestinae of the family Buprestidae are reported based on the survey conducted during the 2005 to 2013.This monograph is based on the taxonomy of family Buprestidae of the order Coleoptera and provided the qualitative data and sophisticated information. This book is useful for students, researcher and zoology teachers.

Members of the family Buprestidae were collected in the survey conducted during 2005 to 2013 in various provinces of Pakistan including Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwah has well as Azad Kashmir and Tribal areas (Kurram Agency). The specimens were collected by beating branches of trees and bushes, by using sweep net and hand picking methods. Thirty nine species and 6 sub species, 14 genera, 10 tribes and 5 sub families are reported based.
