Current policies on psychology input for acute wards emphasise the delivety of therapies. The effectiveness of these may be limited by the setting. This paper considers indices of effectiveness and presents a model aimed at developing team thinking.

... Our service, as depicted in Table I, provided a multifaceted input, which complied with national guidelines and policies.
