This article reviews the construction process of resistance discourse in a video dealing with a reform proposal of Law 30 presented by the Colombian government, in 2011. A brief presentation of the methodological framework the analysis is based on, namely the multimodal perspective is given. First, we examine the semiotic configuration of audiovisual texts on YouTube, as a virtual scenario. Second, we identify the dialogical dimension of discourse and how enunciation is socially oriented and valued, that is how it acquires an intentional, appreciatory, or predictive pitch. (Martinez, 2001a). Third, we discuss the discourse strategies used, which clearly show a revalidation of a creative process, in terms of meaning construction, irony, and parodying in hegemonic discourse.
