In this paper, the concepts of regular bipolar fuzzy hypergraphs and totally regular bipolar fuzzy hypergraphs are introduced. We prove necessary and sufficient condition under which regular bipolar fuzzy hypergraphs and totally regular bipolar fuzzy hypergraphs are equivalent. Some properties of regular and totally regular bipolar fuzzy hypergraphs are examined. Regular bipolar fuzzy hypergraphs and totally regular bipolar fuzzy hypergraphs are compared through examples. © 2014 S. Narayanamoorthy, A. Tamilselvi, P. Karthick, S. Kalyani and S. Maheswari.

... Contour-based segmentation techniques, especially those built on the level-set methodology, have gained prominence for their balance between computational efficiency and accuracy. These approaches are generally divided into two categories: edge-driven [9][10][11][12][13][14] and region-driven models [15][16][17][18]. Region-based methods, in particular, rely on the statistical characteristics of pixel intensities within defined areas, rather than on image gradients. ...

... They also compared the proposed technique with existing methods and demonstrated its validity and practicability. Narayanamoorthy et al. [22] introduced the concept of regular and totally regular bipolar fuzzy hypergraphs, which are generalizations of bipolar fuzzy graphs. They proved some mathematical properties and provided examples of these hypergraphs. ...
