... The theoretical foundation of the study used is based on the interest rate monetary transmission mechanism that suggest a positive relationship between exchange rate and interest rate. The hypothesis maintains that any country that wants to depreciate its exchange rate by value has to reduce its interest rate by the right amount (See Blanchard, 2009Blanchard, , 2015Blanchard, , 2017.
