The purpose of the article is to study the legal consequences of decisions made as a result of the operation of automated information systems (including robots). The main problem is to determine the subject responsible for the legal consequences of such decisions. In many cases, no person can foresee or influence the results of artificial intelligence. Methods: the authors used the method of system analysis, the formal legal method. Results: The generality of the problem of incorrect solutions of robots and complex information systems is substantiated. This will make it possible to use the accumulated practical experience in the legal regulation of state information systems in relation to the problem of responsibility of robots. The authors proposed a classification of threats of incorrect decisions, as well as the basis of a model for the distribution of legal responsibility based on multiple subject composition (initiator, organizer, interested party, controller, persons bearing risks from the consequences of incorrect decisions of automated systems) and the coincidence of subjects (roles) in different legal regimes.KeywordsRobotAutomated systemSolutionLegal responsibilityInformation legal relationsState information systems
