The Proceedings of JSME annual Conference on Robotics and Mechatronics (Robomec)

This paper shows the robotics education program at Shonan Institute of Technology (SIT). SIT has started an interdisciplinary learning program from 2018. The SIT students can join the program from their sophomore year, so they can get early professional education. We have started four courses: artificial intelligence, XR media, IoT, and robotics. Students who are eager to learn those topics can join one of the courses and they can start research with their professor in charge. Here, I would like to show a project in the robotics course, a university guide robot “SITTER-II” Project.

This paper shows the robotics education program at Shonan Institute of Technology (SIT). SIT has started an inter department education program from 2018. Students can join the program from their sophomore year, so they can get early professional education. We have started four courses: artificial intelligence, XR media, IoT, and robotics. Students whose grade and attendance rate are good enough can join one of the courses and they can start research with their professor in charge.
