Articulations between industrial strategies and spaces had never done matter of real historical investigations. Justified by the rich potentialities given by the Mediterranea area of 18th and 18th centuries, this article wants to suggest a set of questions on capital and underestimated factor of economic dynamism. Studies on this field, both specific and exemplary, would result in a better understanding of space representation by the actors of economy and would allow to analyse part and repercussion of space in the whole process of decision.
