This research conducted to gather whether these textbook contained 21st century or not in communication, collaborative, critical thinking, flexibility and adaptability, leadership and responsibility, creativity and innovation are the skills that should be included in English tasks in 21st century skills. Then the researches will be spell out the textbook by using analysis. The purpose of this research is to detect what the preparation of academic English textbook coincide with the 21st century skills. Qualitative method was used in this research to reveal the analysis of the researcher. The sample of this research is analysis the content related to suitability of the textbook in 21stcentury.There are still few researchers who examine how 21st century skills is implemented in collage English textbook. As a final note, the researcher advises doing study on how published materials are utilized in courses, schools, and universities throughout the nation because she believes it is crucial to do so in order to achieve the intended learning objectives. Also make them more accurate to be learned for each student and teacher or lecturer. The researcher hopes the further research is more detail and conical to the similar problem to be analyses.


Improving Language Feature Understanding of Story on Video Through Developing Moodle-Based E-Learning

In this pandemic situation, English learning mostly has been done online. Hence it’s tutor job to be creative. Moodle based e learning hoped give solution.This study has purpose to: (1) produce an appropriate Moodle-based English e-learning product in improving language features of story understanding at Jovelin Course (2) find out how effective Moodle-based e-learning is on language features of story understanding at Jovelin Course. This research uses Research Development. Data collection instruments are interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The following is the study's findings. (1) An online Learning Management System (LMS) based on the Moodle application software version 3.1 was used to produce the e-learning offering. (2) Based on media expert validation with a score of 3.68 with "good" criteria, material expert validation with an average score of 4.29 with "very good" criteria, and user responses with a score of 4.28 with "very good" criteria, Moodle-based e-learning products were declared eligible as learning media. (3) The use of e-learning improved the learning results of Intermediate Level Jovelin Course Brebes students. The rise in learning outcomes, as measured by the percentage of pretest and postest, demonstrates the efficiency of the product for learning English in the capacity of recognizing linguistic aspects of tale on video. Linguistic data often record cultural values and reflects the social dynamics of society based on cultural values. The purpose of this study is to analyze the discourse and speech of the Javanese Ngapak language which contains cultural values and the way that culture is constructed through discourse and speech language. The object of this study is discourse and the approach used is linguistic-sociological, or usually called sociolinguistics. The method used in this paper is a qualitative descriptive research method that produces descriptive data in the form of speech, writing, or observed behavior, using the listening and writing technique. The results of the study show that good culture, religious teachings, and a culture of sharing with others are found in the discourse and utterances of the Ngapak Javanese language. These cultures are constructed through the Ngapak Javanese language in a relaxed, serious, prayer and humorous atmosphere, showing the reality of the Ngapak-speaking community. This means that cultural values are found in discourse in the form of community conversations, texts and speech in various forms which are constructed through the Javanese Ngapak language to reflect reality.
