Linda Duncan, Canadian environmental lawyer and the founder of the Alberta Environmental Law Center, has talked about her new appointment as NDP candidate has her efforts to make green mark in the federal government. She ensures that public has the right to participate in the decisions that affect them in their communities along with enforcement of environmental laws. Duncan's success can be attributed in part to her involvement in the city so as to win the campaign in favor of the whole community, along with the view of many in response to be a National Post province. Duncan is also reviewing the proposed climate Change Accountability Act that would commit the nation to firm greenhouse gas emission reduction targets and a cap-and trade program. She has also push for participatory governance and a healthy environment in her concern believing that the nation has completely slipped away from being an environmental leader.
