Indonesia, which has chosen the path of becoming a democratic country, should no longer question differences in choices in general elections. However, in the course of history, general elections, especially in 2014 and 2019, were marked by divisions in society. This has also become a concern for some groups that a similar incident will occur so that there will be political turbulence in society. On that basis, this service activity is carried out by making youth partners, so that youth can respond wisely to various events related to the 2024 election. This activity is carried out on Jalan Tanjung Dapura by holding discussions with partner groups. The results of the dedication show that young people with the status of first-time voters are very enthusiastic about this activity. They will also participate actively in the 2024 elections democratically. They hope that the elections can take place peacefully, there will be no divisions in society for the sake of the integrity of the nation and state.

This study aims to foster the spirit of nationalism and or national insight in students at MTs Miftahul Ulum, Gowa Regency through Indonesian genre films. Film is a medium that is easily understood and digested by students compared to other media that tend to be conventional. The method used is watching Indonesian genre films. Through watching this film, students gain an aspect of consciousness, so that after watching the film, students feel and bring up in their minds the importance of protecting and loving Indonesia, both as a homeland and as a nation. The results showed that after they finished watching several films such as: Denias, Senandung di Atas Awan and Tanah Surga “Katanya”, it showed that they were able to have knowledge and understanding that nationalism and national insight were not only about fighting the colonialists (Dutch and Japanese Colonial). They have an understanding that nationalism can be expressed in different forms according to the context of the era. Students love and are proud of Indonesia.

Kehidupan manusia di muka bumi ini telah dilanda krisis lingkungan yang sangat serius. Kerusakan telah terbukti melanda lingkungan biotik mapun lingkungan abiotik. Puncak kesadaran manusia atas permasalahan lingkungan itu ditandai dengan munculnya kesadaran akan adanya perubahan iklim di kalangan akademisi. Akan tetapi permasalahan lingkungan belum sepenuhnya disadari oleh masyarakat perdesaan, termasuk di Desa Pakkabba. Atas dasar hal itu, maka perlu diadakan penyuluhan di desa ini yang bertujuan untuk memberikan kesadaran dan pemahaman kepada masyarakat akan pentingnya menjaga kelestarian lingkungan. Salah satu cara yang ditempuh untuk memunculkan kesadaran tersebut ialah mengajak masyarakat Desa Pakkabba untuk mengurangi penggunaan plastik sekaligus memberikan pemahaman kepada mereka untuk memilah sampah plastik (non organik) dengan sampah organik. Kegiatan pengabdian ini disambut baik oleh masyarakat yang ditandai dengan tingkat partisipasi mereka dalam mendengarkan materi dari tim pengabdi, dan mereka sangat aktif dalam kegiatan kerja bakti membersihkan lingkungan.

Abstrak. This paper discusses the rise of Islamic politics at the beginning of reform in Indonesia. Islam as a political force in Indonesia has strong bargaining power in the process of national leadership succession. This cannot be separated from the reality that Indonesian society is dominated by Muslims. however, the problem is, in the 1999 elections, Islamic political parties could not gain a dominant vote. This condition certainly reinforces the notion that the revival of Islamic parties at the beginning of the reformation was not primarily driven by motivation to fight for the interests of the Muslim community in general, but rather from political motives and power, both related to political elites and political parties. This paper is prepared using a historical methodology that takes four stages of research, namely: heuristics (data collection), data criticism or verification, interpretation, and historiography (historical writing).
