Post Offices in 'New Avatar'

Generally it is believed that government organizations are static and do not change, It is the private enterprise with entrepreneurial abilities who respond quickly to get the best out of any situation. But postal department is proving an exception to the standard belief. The 154 year old Department of Posts is emerging as new and modern look. With over 1.6 lakh post offices covering the urban and rural populace, the Indian postal network is the largest in the world. India Post has been repositioned with a focus on customers, technology and business.
