Since the discoveries were made in Mesopotamia and neighboring regions, it was believed that the cradle of civilization was found in the alluvial basin of the Euphrates and the Tigris (Winckelman, 2000). However, in the twenties of the last century, discoveries made in the Indus or Harappan Civilization put forward the idea of the cradle of civilization from Mesopotamia to the Indus (Marshall, 1931;Wheeler, 1953;Mackay, 1948;Piggott, 1950). On the one hand, the discoveries made in the Indus Civilization resolved the cultural and trade links between Indus and Sumer, but also exposed the lack of archaeological evidence supporting this theory. ...
