The hotel sector is a significant pillar in Bangladesh because it has significantly contributed to its economic development. Employee work performance has become a global business phenomenon in the service industry over various years because work performance in the hotel industry heavily depends on employee engagement and training facilities. The present research determined the mediating influence of organizational commitment on the impact of training and development and employee engagement on work performance among frontline employees in Bangladesh. Applying a simple random technique, from the 362 frontline employees, data was gathered from the selected population. Collected data was analyzed using SPSS, which was used for descriptive analysis, and Smart-PLS 3.0 was applied to the structure and measurement models. The structure model tested all hypotheses of this study. In this study, training and development, employee engagement, and organizational commitment significantly influence work performance. Moreover, organizational commitment partially mediates the impact of training and development and employee engagement on work performance. The contribution is that owners, managers, and policymakers should take necessary action to develop work performance and organizational commitment, considering the right behaviour. Additionally, employee engagement and development training facilities should be implemented to meet the hotel's demands for the future and present. The present study explains outcomes with various research limitations that suggest further study is needed. This study fulfils the research gaps in the hotel sector of Bangladesh, which indicates that organizational commitment, work performance, employee engagement, training and development were not high. A Survey on Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence Among Youth in the Digital Age in Selangor, Malaysia

This survey study reports findings on information technology and artificial intelligence among two types of youth: youth aged 15–30 and youth aged 31–40 in Selangor, Malaysia. Data were collected from 1000 youth from 9 districts of Selangor (Gombak, Petaling, Kuala Langat, Hulu Langat, Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Sabak Bernam, Klang, and Sepang). The study findings for information technology and artificial intelligence show eleven items. As expected, overall respondents from youth categories recorded the highest mean score of 4.04, and the youth adult mean score is 3.99. In conclusion, the digital age presents both opportunities and challenges for youth in Selangor, Malaysia. Understanding the implications of information technology and artificial intelligence on youth is crucial for promoting their well-being and harnessing the benefits of digital advancements in education, health, and social interactions

This study aims to justify the mediating effect of organizational commitment in the association between training and development, career development, and work performance. Data was collected from 362 frontline hotel employees through a survey by random sampling technique. The analysis methodology comprises descriptive statistics, measurement, and structure models through SPSS 23 and Smarts PLS 3.0. This study significantly examined the correlation between training and development and work performance, career development, and work performance. Moreover, organizational commitment in the hotel sector is significantly associated with work performance. Furthermore, the significant correlation between training and development and work performance career development among hotel personnel is mediated by organizational commitment. Owners and managers should know the necessary policies to enhance employees' work performance and organizational commitment and consider appropriate behaviour. Besides, all required facilities for enhancing career development and training and development should be implemented to strengthen hotels' present and future demands. It is furthered by the study's explanations of the results and their limitations, which also included suggestions for future research possibilities. This research filled the gap in the hotel industry in Bangladesh, where study works into wide-ranging training and development, career development practices, organizational commitment, and work performance were rare.
