Kinerja karyawan menjadi perhatian serius oleh perusahaan, karena dengan kinerja karyawan yang baik dapat meningkatkan hasil yang sangat berdampak pada profit perusahaan. Namun, beberapa prediktor yang dapat membangun kinerja karyawan belum memberikan informasi yang menyeluruh. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji faktor pemberdayaan karyawan, motivasi kerja dan lingkungan karyawan terhadap kinerja karyawan di CV. Anugerah Jaya Beauty Semarang. Menggunakan data 30 karyawan yang ada dianalisis menggunakan regresi berganda, ditemukan bahwa pemberdayaan karyawan, motivasi kerja dan lingkungan karyawan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan SDM melalui pemberdayaan dan penguatan motivasi karyawan. Aspek komunikasi antar anggota organisasi dan pemenuhan alat kerja juga menjadi elemen penting dalam variabel lingkungan kerja. Para manajer dapat memperhatikan ketiga variabel prediktor dalam penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan.


Islamic Intellectual Stimulation Leadership: Conceptualisation, Scale Development, and Validation

This study aims at developing a new leadership concept as result of transformational leadership intervention with Isl?mic values, namely Isl?mic intellectual stimulation leadership, and develop a measurement scale. We collected data from 119 respondents among university leaders in Indonesia. Using exploratory tests and confirmatory factor analysis, we tested the validity and reliability of the proposed measurement scales. The findings of this study reveal 23 indicators that reflect Isl?mic Intellectual stimulation leadership in the Indonesian context. This research contributes to development of the human resources literature especially on the concept of workplace leadership. This research is limited only to Indonesian institutions; to apply these indicators in a broader and global context, future researchers need to conduct similar research at several different institutions or contexts around the world. Professionals can use these findings as a basis for designing and developing leadership qualities in the workplace that can broadly stimulate employees to improve organizational performance.

Uniqueness in the field of logistics was chosen as the basis for excellence in higher education at Institute of Economics Science Cendekia Karya Utama in Indonesia, because it is considered that logistics capabilities are the basis for building competitive advantages for its alumni. However, this program has never been studied for the effectiveness of its implementation and also for its follow-up development model. Based on the Resource Based View theory, this research aims to determine the effectiveness of the logistics competency program and build a competitive development model at Institute Economic Science Cendekia Karya Utama Semarang. Through qualitative methods involving informants from the Indonesian Logistics Training Institute, lecturers, logistics practitioners and graduate who work in logistics companies, it was found that to increase broader competitive advantage there needs to be strengthening in several aspects, namely the need to add digital logistics curriculum content (ex: warehouse management system, transportation management system and strengthening foreign languages (English, Mandarin). A logistics-based competitive advantage development model can be developed by synergizing and collaborating between universities and alumni, the business and industrial logistics, practitioners and training institutions according to their respective roles -each of which is discussed in this study. This study contributes to the expansion of the resource based view theory and the development of graduate quality and unique logistics competencies as a basis for building excellence from Institute Economic Science Cendekia Karya Utama Semarang, Indonesia

MEMBANGUN KEPUASAN KERJA MELALUI BUDAYA, KOMITMEN DAN IKLIM ORGANISASI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh lingkungan kerja, komitmen organisasi dan budaya organisasi terhadap kepuasan kerja pada konteks Pekerja Harian Lepas di PT. Aida Rattan Industri, Semarang. Menggunakan rumus Slovin diperoleh sampel sebanyak 71 orang responden. Responden mengisi data secara sukarela melalui kuesioner. Analisis regresi berganda digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja dan budaya organisasi memiliki pengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Komitmen karyawan pada organisasi juga berkontribusi positif dalam membangun kepuasan kerja karyawan. Para manajer di PT Aida Rattan Industri dapat memperhatikan aspek-aspek variabel tersebut dalam membangun dan meningkatkan kepuasan kerja bagi karyawan harian lepas.

Islamic Education Management (IEM) involves the planning, implementation, organization, and evaluation of concepts or theories implemented to enhance the quality of Islamic educational institutions. Several Islamic educational institutions face various challenges in managing their education, including but not limited to limited resources, technological changes, and shifts in labor market demands. Therefore, an innovative and quality-oriented management approach is required to improve the effectiveness and relevance of Islamic education in coping with the dynamics of the time. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing existing theories and research findings. This research is initiated with the aim of investigating and analyzing various management approaches that can be used to improve the quality of education in Islamic institutions. It is expected that with this method, research findings can enhance understanding related to Islamic education management. In conlcucion, Islamic Education Management (IEM) plays a pivotal role in addressing the multifaceted challenges faced by Islamic educational institutions. Strategic management emerges as a crucial aspect, involving planning, implementation, and evaluation. Through strategic planning, Islamic educational institutions can set a vision, mission, and goals that align with Islamic values, fostering the development of a strong foundation for IEI. Implementation ensures that these strategies are effectively put into practice, and continuous evaluation guarantees that they contribute positively to the enhancement of Islamic education quality.

Ihsan Commitment: A New Concept of Workplace Commitment in Islamic Perspective

Purpose: This study suggests a new commitment concept in the workplace within the perspective of Islam that is rooted on ih. san¯ values. Methodology: This research uses a meta-analysis method. We took the top ten articles in the Q1 category from the Scopus data base using the Publish or Perish application with the title word organizational commitment. Findings: This study provides a new color in the concept of work commitment with included Islamic religious values such as ih. san¯ value, where the concept offered by previous research is stating that work commitment is a form of transactional relationship between organizations and employees built from social exchange theory. Significance: This study contributes to the development of a commitment concept in an Islamic perspective. The result of this study provides insight and a contemporary concept in building employee commitment for increasing participation and human performance. Limitations: As a new concept, measurement and validation scales still need to be developed. Implications: The concept of ih. san¯ commitment is hoped to offer a strong commitment founded on the spirit of faith and a wider goal within work activities in building commitment that is al fala¯h. : to maintain religion, spirit, mentality, descendants and possessions.


Muthmainnah Adaptive Capability: Conceptualization, Scale Development and Validation

In response to change and the organizational environment, it is necessary to have employees who are adaptive and possesses the resilience in interacting with changes. The characteristics of millennial employees are prone to cause disharmony when responding to change and building work relationships. This requires transcendental meaning to form a personality that is religious and has a positive character in achieving performance. This research aims to develop a new concept of employee adaptive ability based on Islamic spiritual values, namely Muthmainnah Adaptive Capability that includes its dimensions and measurements. We collect data from 117 employees who work in public institutions in Central Java, Indonesia. We test the validity and reliability of measurements using Exploratory Factor Analysis and Confirmatory Factor Analysis. The results of this study improve the literature on human resource development, especially on employee adaptability. The analysis reveal 21 indicators that define Muthmainnah Adaptive Capability.

Kantor Pos Ungaran merupakan salah satu cabang dari PT. Indonesia Post terletak di Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi Perusahaan Kantor Pos Ungaran adalah persaingan bisnis di industri petualangan selalu semakin ketat, setiap perusahaan berusaha menarik konsumen sebanyak-banyaknya. Mengingat pentingnya masalah kepuasan dan loyalitas pelanggan, maka penelitian ini fokus pada Kantor Pos Ungaran, salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di industri jasa pengiriman. Kantor Pos Ungaran kini memiliki lebih dari satu pelanggan tetap.

Digital Organizational Support and Employee Well-Being: The Role of Moderating Religious Coping

The rapid and unpredictable business environment changes can affect work patterns and organizational sustainability, such as during the Covid-19 pandemic. Organizations are required to carry out social distancing by working from home to provide services to the community. Emotional exhaustion can arise when the work process has to be done at home for a relatively long time with social interactions restrictions. Based on conservation of resources theory, this study examined the effect of working from home via telework on employee well-being for civil servants in the public sector. The study involved 150 civil servants as respondents. Data analysis using structural equation modelling. Results showed that digital organizational support has no significant effect on emotions. Religious coping strategies significantly moderate the relationship between emotional and employee well-being. Besides, emotions do not entirely mediate the relationship between digital organizational support and employee well-being. The findings of this study have important implications for organizations, especially regarding overcoming emotional exhaustion during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research limitations, future research and managerial implications are also discussed in the study.

This study aims to intervene the concept of achievement-oriented leadership by utilizing path-goal leadership theory, with Islamic ethical values that have a transcendental meaning, namely the ihsan value. It also introduces ihsan achievement oriented leadership as a new leadership concept. This intervention is important because the concepts and empirical studies from several existing studies are still oriented to the transactional relationship between leaders and employees. As the result, the best work commitment is based on the employees' preferences of the awards received for their work. Their orientation is still limited to material values in the world rather than religious values and hereafter life. Therefore, the researchers collected data from 103 institutional leaders of madrasah aliyah (Islamic senior high school) in Central Java, Indoneisa. The data collected were tested for the validity of each item by using linear correlation, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and Cronbach's α. This study found 24 indicator items in ihsan achievement-oriented leadership. The items are accumulated in three dimensions; excellent work oriented by maintaining harmony and benefit, goodness or achievement is believed to be an investment in the future (world and hereafter), and spiritual spirit is the main motivation and goal. The findings of this study enrich the literature on human resource development, especially in the field of achievement-oriented leadership so that it becomes more holistic and comprehensive.
