Nowadays climate change is a critical issue everywhere, this study focused on the impact of local climate of Iraq which specially refers to design of Abbasid palaces location plans as well as Abbasid palaces characteristics and location. The study has been conducted mostly of Qasr Al-Jawsaq Al-Khakani, Balaklora Palace and Al-Jaafari Palace, the case study has been conducted considering the one palace along with site environment relation. In this research Descriptive analytical method focused mostly, in that study described Abbasid palace and then analyze the impact of the local climate on its design by taking vertical sections in open spaces to study the impact of wind and sun movement on the openings in the palace, with a simplified definition of each palace and applying the principle to the plan of one of Abbasid palaces. The research identified many climate elements including the location of the Palace, sun angle and local wind the elements of palace design like the courtyard, Ewan, and gates of the Palace. A questionnaire was prepared and distributed to a number of specialists in the field of architecture and the results of the answers were graphically analyzed to see the impact of local environment elements on the shortcomings to obtain the results..

This research attempts to put a proposal Sustainable Design Development of the area around the Great Mosque & its Minaret, which it for many years has become a symbol of Iraqi architecture and its history as a result of the skill of Iraqi sculptors and architects in using local materials like bricks in their buildings. The research problem is a knowledge gap about the(SWOT) factors (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) that faced area.. While Research methodology is descriptive and analytical. The Reasons for selecting this project is to raise the percentage of tourism in the area. Subsequently, to grow a good economic city; in addition to the importance of Samarra civilization in making it a destination for tourism for tours, students, poets, and others because it includes many cultural landmarks and needs a space to attract tourists and be a cultural outlet for the city as well as a recreational site embraces their activities and meet their needs. To the archaeological importance of the area near Al-Malwaiya, to attract tourists in the city, and it helps to identify the city heritage.

This research attempts to explore the aesthetic inputs of the Baghdadi House, which for many years has become a symbol of Iraqi architecture and its shape has evolved as a result of the skill of Iraqi sculptors and architects in the use of wood and bricks and the adaptation of these materials to give a special aesthetic to the Baghdadi House made it aesthetically sustainable. The problem of the research was the existence of a knowledge gap about the factors that contributed to enrich the details of the Baghdadi House to give it the required aesthetic sustainability. Therefore, the research adopted hypothesis (that the aesthetic of Baghdadi House results from the interaction of sustainability factors and local materials that enrich the details of the house among them in addition to that experience The Iraqi architecture added another aesthetic dimension to him) the research adopted the descriptive approach on the concept of beauty and the application of beauty levels on the elements of the Baghdadi House as well as adopted the analytical approach through the effective indicators on four different samples of houses The aim of the research is to know the aesthetic sustainability of the house by using local materials in the implementation of the Baghdadi. the results of research there is aesthetic sustainability through two indicators are architectural aesthetic and micro climate has given Interaction of the central courtyard with parts of the Baghdadi house
