ITALIAN LEPTOPODOMORPHA. TOPOGRAPHIC CATALOG WITH NOTES ON THEIR ECOLOGY, PHENOLOGY AND ZOOGEOGRAPHY (HETEROPTERA). Examining more than 6000 specimens (1924 of which collected by themselves) coming from more than 900 localities all over Italy, the authors obtain an almost complete picture of the real distribution of the 31 species of Leptopodidae and Saldidae known to occur in Italy. The development of a data base allowed them a statistical analysis of faunistical records with the fulfilment of four kinds of diagrams (finding frequency per administrative region, comparison of altimetrical distribution of groups of species, phenological and altimetrical distribution of the single species in three (almost homogeneous) zones of Italian peninsula) and some maps pointing out the finding localities of the less common species. * * * * * * ** RIASSUNTO. Dall'esame di oltre 6000 esemplari provenienti da più di 900 località viene desunta la corologia delle 31 specie di Leptopodidi e Saldidi presenti in Italia. La creazione di una banca dati informatica ha consentito una elaborazione statistica dei reperti faunistici con la realizzazione di quattro tipi di istogrammi (frequenza dei ritrovamenti per regione, diagrammi comparativi della distribuzione altimetrica di più specie, istogrammi fenologici e altimetrici per tre diverse zone geo-climatiche dell'Italia) e di alcune cartine che illustrano le località di cattura. Il lavoro è concluso da una trattazione dettagliata delle tendenze ecologiche delle entità segnalate e da una breve analisi zoogeografica con considerazioni sull'affinità faunistica dei paesi limitrofi.
