Mit der zunehmenden Etablierung im schulischen Unterricht wurde die Lehr-Lern-Form auch für die Hochschulbildung interessant und es folgten erste wissenschaftlich dokumentierte Anwendungen um die Jahrtausendwende (vgl. Lage et al., 2000;Jensen et al., 2015, S. 1 Bergert et al. (2013) gestellte Frage: "Wozu so ein Aufwand?"
