What is this page?
This page lists the scientific contributions of an author, who either does not have a ResearchGate profile, or has not yet added these contributions to their profile.
It was automatically created by ResearchGate to create a record of this author's body of work. We create such pages to advance our goal of creating and maintaining the most comprehensive scientific repository possible. In doing so, we process publicly available (personal) data relating to the author as a member of the scientific community.
If you're a ResearchGate member, you can follow this page to keep up with this author's work.
If you are this author, and you don't want us to display this page anymore, please let us know.

The properties, structuring and intermolecular forces of diglyme + alkanol mixtures are studied using a combined experimental and theoretical approach. The thermophysical properties as well as the molecular simulation results provide detailed characterization of the mixtures in terms of composition, type of 1-alkanol and temperature. The possibilit...
The unusual properties of poly(ethyleneoxide) + alcohol mixtures were analyzed using a poly(ethylene oxide) monomer (1,2-dimethoxyethane) in ethanol solutions as a model. A collection of thermophysical measurements and computational studies, using density functional theory and classical molecular dynamics approaches, provide valuable information ab...

... In fact, several authors have paid their attention to clarifying the nature of intermolecular interaction between ethylene oxide oligomer and alcohol. For example, the MD simulations work done by Aparicio et al. 72 who investigated the binary mixture of 1,2-dimethoxyethane (DME), the shortest and simplest ether molecule which has the comformational properties of PEG, in ethanol solution. The results reveal that the energy interaction of DME-ethanol mixture is strongly dominated by the Lennard-Jones type (88.9%), especially for the mixtures with low concentrations of DME. ...
