Globally, an increasing number of people are suffering from mental health disorders (WHO, 2019). Concerningly, about 80 percent of these mental health conditions arise before the age of 26 years old (Caspi et al., 2020), and over 50 percent before the age of 14 years old (WHO, 2020). In this report, we map out the mental health care system in Canada for children and youth, which we’ve defined as those aged ≦ 25 years old.
