8 cases of mammary cancer in men (average age 58 yr) are presented. The first sign discovered by the patient was a mammary tumor in 3 cases; in 4 others there were alterations of the nipple; and in one there was an axillary adenopathy. When being explored 2 patients only had a mammary tumor; 4 had additional axillary adenopathies and 2 already had an osseous metastasis. In 5 cases the cancer appeared on the right side. In 6 cases its location was subareolar, and in 2 it was superoexternal. In all cases radical mastectomy followed by radiotherapy was performed. In 4 patients medicamental therapy with cyclophosphamide was included. In those who suffered from osseous metastasis, castration together with antimitotic therapy was carried out. Average survival was 20 mth, being 10 mth in the patients suffering from osseous metastasis. One patient is still alive.
