Cypripedium calceolus is listed as a Critically Endangered plant species in the Republic of Mordovia (Central Russia). It is included in the regional Red Data Book as well as in the Red Data Book of the Russian Federation. The present paper is devoted to the record of this plant in urban ecosystem of Culture Park in the Komsomolskiy settlement considered as a large centre of cement industry in the Republic of Mordovia. We studied some morphometric traits of two Cypripedium calceolus individuals that have been registered in the new location. In addition, we performed an analysis of the flora composition accompanied to the rare plant species.
