Background: The occupational therapy profession has risks from its work, namely musculoskeletal pain. This problem, if not properly addressed, will have a serious impact, including a deterioration in quality of life. Some attempts that can be made to overcome musculoskeletal pain are pharmacological and non-pharmacological efforts. This study will look at the effect of intervention in the form of stretching exercises on musculoskeletal pain and quality of life in occupational therapists in the Klaten district. The aim of this study is to measure the effect of stretching exercises on musculoskeletal pain and quality of life among occupational therapists in the Klaten district. Methods: This study utilized a pre-experimental pretest-posttest design and employed purposive sampling to select participants. Musculoskeletal pain was assessed using the Nordic Body Map questionnaire, while the WHOQOL-BREF instrument was used to measure quality of life. Results: The study found a statistically significant decrease in musculoskeletal pain with a p-value of 0.000 using a paired t-test. Similarly, both the Wilcoxon signed-rank test and the paired t-test showed statistically significant improvements across all four quality-of-life domains, yielding a p-value of 0.001. Conclusion: Stretching exercise has the effect of reducing musculoskeletal pain and improving the quality of life of occupational therapists in the Klaten district.

During the work process, speech therapists often experience obstacles that develop into negative feelings in the form of work stress and fatigue at work. The demands of the speech therapist's work environment can result in changing sleep patterns so that the speech therapist has poor sleep quality. Objectives: This study aims to determine the relationship between work stress and fatigue and sleep quality in speech therapist health workers in the city of Medan. Methods: This type of research is a non-experimental quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with 28 speech therapists as respondents. Measurement of work stress using the Perceived Stress Scale questionnaire (PSS-10), fatigue measurement using the Industrial Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC) questionnaire and measurement of sleep quality using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality questionnaire (PSQI). Data analysis was performed using the SPSS version 25.0 statistical program using the Spearman Rank statistical test. Results: The majority of respondents aged 20-40 years (82.1%), female (75%), married (57.1%), Diploma III education level (92.9%), working period 1-10 years (75 %). Speech therapists experienced moderate stress (53.6%) with low fatigue (64.33%) and good sleep quality (60.7%). The results of the correlation test obtained a value of r=0.192 (p=0.000) for the fatigue variable and a value of r=0.211 (p=0.000) for the sleep quality variable. Conclusion: There is no correlation between work stress and fatigue and work stress and sleep quality among speech therapist health workers in Medan City. Physical exercise is considered an effective non-pharmacological approach to reduce musculoskeletal complaints. Tera exercise is an aerobic exercise (using oxygen) because this exercise has an element of breathing exercise (breath training). Objectives: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of tera exercise to reduce musculoskeletal discomfort in the elderly at Posyandu Warna Sari, Glonggong Village, Nogosari District, Boyolali. Methods: This study uses quantitative research using pre-experimental design methods. The research design used in this study is one group pre-test and post-test design. Respondents were 18 elderly with ages ranging from 55 to 75 years in Posyandu Warna Sari, Desa Glonggong, Kecamatan Nogosari, Boyolali. The instrument used is the Nordic Body Map (NBM) used to measure subjectively the musculoskeletal discomfort. The treatment given is tera gymnastics given as many as 12 sessions and each session lasts for 30-40 minutes. Data analysis techniques using the Paired Sample T Test. Result: The calculated t result for the tera exercise intervention was 10.32 with a significance value (Pvalue) of 0.001. . Because the significance value is <0.05, there is a significant difference in the pre-test scores compared to the post-test scores for the respondents' musculoskeletal discomfort, so that Ha is accepted, namely Tera exercise is effective in reducing musculoskeletal complaints in the elderly at Posyandu Warna Sari, Desa Glonggong , Kecamatan Nogosari, Kabupaten Boyolali. Conclusion: Tera exercise is effective in reducing musculoskeletal discomfort in the elderly at Posyandu Warna Sari, Desa Glonggong, Kecamatan Nogosari, Kabupaten Boyolali. This study aims to determine the effect of PMR on sleep quality and fatigue during lecture activities among students majoring in Occupational Therapy, Health Polytechnic, Ministry of Health, Surakarta. Method. The design of this research is quasi experimental "One group pre and post test design with control group". Sampling was carried out using quota sampling technique. Sleep quality complaint data was taken using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) instrument and fatigue data was taken using a subjective fatigue questionnaire. Results. Based on the independent sample T test statistical test, the results obtained for both sleep quality and fatigue variables showed significant differences in the intervention group compared to the control group, with P values of 0.004 and 0.009 (P<0.05), respectively. Conclusion. Progressive Muscle Relaxation intervention affects sleep quality and fatigue during lecture activities in students of the Department of Occupational Therapy, Health Polytechnic, Ministry of Health, Surakarta. Work fatigue can cause a decrease in work efficiency, productivity, work capacity, health and endurance ability which causes work accidents. Progressive muscle relaxation (PMR) is a therapeutic intervention that helps reduce fatigue levels. This study aims to determine the effect of PMR on work fatigue in workers. Research methods. This research is a quantitative research with a pre-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest design without a control group and the data analysis method used is the paired t-test statistical technique, using the statistical program SPSS version 20. The sampling technique used is total sampling with a sample of 22 people. The research instrument uses the Subjective Self Rating Test. Research result. Based on the paired t-test, it shows that the significance value (p-value) is 0.001 (p <0.05), which means that there is a difference in the value before and after the intervention, so that the research hypothesis is accepted. Conclusion. This study shows that Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) has an effect on reducing worker fatigue at Home Industry Boyazy Garmindo Colomadu.
