The image distortion field has been studied and applied variously in the fields of engineering and art. This research is to express artistic sense by using the engineering technology on image distortion. In order to do this, the paper first examines the aesthetic interpretations on artistic expressions of image distortion. Then, it explains that image distortion using magnetic force can be an artistic expression method and includes user immersion elements. In addition, it demonstrates that image distortion can be used as an artistic emotional expression based on interaction. This research will contribute to the production and development of creative emotional contents through the convergence of scientific technology and art.

Interactive art is implemented by participants interaction, characterized by the virtuality, immersion, interactivity. Among these features, immersion is important factor to absorb in the interactive art. From now, Interactive art measurement methods are mainly used in interview, questionnaire, and physiological methods. But these methods are difficult to measure the exact immersion, can give interfere with viewer`s participation in the interactive art. In this paper, we propose the immersion measurement method which based on participant`s moving lines, observation time with mobile devices, camera. This paper can help to analyse degree of immersion on interactive art.

In order to study the reasonable design thermal loads, the steel box girder bridge specimen which have no concrete slab was manufactured with the real size dimension. The temperature data were measured for 5 month at the 18 thermo gauges which were attached according to height. The temperature differences between the top and bottom flange in steel box girder specimen were calculated and the temperature gradient models were proposed by the probabilistic method. This proposed model showed a correlation of approximately 97% when compared with the similar model of Euro Code. Thus, the temperature gradient models which were suggested in this study may be used as the basis data in calculating the design load temperature.

This study investigated many factors which had to be considered importantly in space planning for the cultural contents exhibition hall on the basis of establishment cases at this time that cultural contents were considered very importantly in the national economy. It must be a priority to set up the concept of the exhibition space which can encompass exhibition spaces, exhibits, the approach to experience exhibitions and others for the effective planning for exhibition spaces showing cultural contents. Visitors` moving lines should be planned based on that concept setting. It is necessary to reflect human attributes that people detect environmental information and perceive the environment through their sensory organs and plan moving lines considering visitors` cognitive, emotional and psychological factors which they can feel according to the temporal order. In addition, this study led visitors to respond exhibits through their five senses and increased the effects that visitors appreciated exhibition spaces, actively getting out of the way that visitors experienced exhibitions, which might be limited to sight. This study will be able to provide specific space planning methods related to the establishment of cultural industry-based professional exhibition halls which have been increased day by day at this time that culture-based industries are considered to be important. Moreover, it will be helpful in reducing the trial and effort factor in the exhibition hall establishment project.

There are many different sensors such as gyroscope sensor, accelerometer sensor, and light sensor for smart devices. These sensors are applied in many fields such as health and medicine, education, augmented reality, and arts. This study aimed to create user-friendly artistic sensibility related to images in the sensitive areas needed for privacy protection by using a sensor in a smart phone and image processing techniques such as contour extraction, blurring, blending, and brightness adjustment. In many cases, the focus was placed on the matter that techniques such as blurring, pixelization, and low-resolution were used for images in the sensitive area needed for privacy protection so that the related area could not be recognized. The phenomenon of image transformation, which suddenly occurs in this way, can cause irritation to smart device users when they view it. In this context, this study showed the possibility of user-friendly image obfuscation through the reflection of artistic sensibility along with the purpose of privacy protection through the fusion of image obfuscation techniques for privacy protection and artistic sensibility.

This research is the study of raindrop rendering. In case of rendering for raindrop in existing games, it is used on sprites images or roughly raindrops images using texture rendering. These methods are similar to the shape and size of all rendered raindrop. That's why players are limitations to provide a sense of reality. To overcome this limitation, this paper proposes a method for generating raindrop considering surface tension and contac angle, the amount of water, implements the raindrop using Unity3D engine. To demonstrate the usefulness of this paper, this paper shows the generated raindrop in accordance with the change in the area and pulling force in surface tension formula. This paper can help to provide the actuality in game in case of rendering the raindrop.
