The integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) technology in the pharmaceutical industry has the potential to bring about significant advancements and improvements, particularly in areas like supply chain management, drug discovery, and patient monitoring. By leveraging IoT technology in these ways, the pharmaceutical industry can enhance efficiency, improve product quality, ensure patient safety, and mitigate the risks associated with counterfeit drugs in the market. However, it was essential to address cybersecurity concerns to safeguard sensitive data and maintain the integrity of the IoT ecosystem in healthcare. The concept of integrating IoT with blockchain in the pharmaceutical supply chain is indeed a powerful solution to address the challenges faced by the industry, particularly in supply chain management and the prevention of counterfeit drugs. Integrating IoT with blockchain technology also results in many advantages like accurate location tracking, real-time updates and visibility, counterfeit prevention, timely delivery to customers, environmental parameter control, expiry date monitoring, pharmaceutical warehouse management, automated decision making and many more. By combining the strengths of IoT and blockchain, the pharmaceutical industry can build a robust and secure supply chain ecosystem. This integrated approach not only enhances transparency and traceability but also addresses critical issues such as counterfeiting by ensuring the delivery of safe and authentic pharmaceutical products to consumers. Environmental parameters are also monitored in a warehouse to avoid spoilage of medicines. The date of expiry of medicines and related equipment are monitored and categorized into three levels such as discard the medicines if expired, near to expiry if the expiry date is nearer and store in the warehouse if the date of expiry is far, and a message is sent accordingly to the supervisor for necessary action. Background: Machining hybrid composites through conventional machining technique was a challenging task as it produces excessive tool wear and exhibits poor surface roughness. In this research work, an attempt was made to electric discharge machining of AA7075/SiC P /B 4 C P Hybrid Composites produced through the stir casting route. Objective: The used engine oil was as the dielectric fluid with the objective of obtaining wealth from waste. The experiments were performed by varying distinct Electric Discharge Machining (EDM) process parameters with the goal of obtaining a high Material Removal Rate (MRR), low Tool Wear Rate (TWR) and least Surface Roughness (Ra). The experimental runs were optimized using the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) optimization techniques. Methods: Experimental runs were designed using the L20 Taguchi orthogonal array in which Powder concentration, Current and Pulse on time were varied for three different levels, and two various dielectric fluids were used for investigation. The characteristics of the Used Engine Oil (UEO) were assessed to find its feasibility as a dielectric fluid. Results: In comparison to EDM oil, the specimen machined in UEO dielectric medium has a somewhat greater MRR. Regardless of the kind of dielectric fluid employed, adding Al 2 O 3 particles increases the MRR because of the bridging effect. Due to its high thermal conductivity, UEO oil produced electrodes with a TWR that was greater than that of EDM oil. The TWR decreases with the addition of Al 2 O 3 particles due to an increase in the spark gap. In comparison to EDM oil, the specimen machined under UEO displays a lower Ra value. Ra decreases with the inclusion of Al 2 O 3 particles due to the thorough flushing of machining waste. Conclusion: The specimen machined under Al 2 O 3 mixed UEO dielectric medium, with the process parameters tuned at 3A current and 20µs Ton, offers better machining performance and was recommended for EDM sector.

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a type that develops in the colon to anus segment of the elementary canal. Is painful; acutely debilitating & fatality becausing. Age; diet, lifestyle habits; occupational stress; agrometeorology; bacteriums; virus have been adduced as risk factors and a small percentage being attributed to genetics etc.,. CRC is now a global threat. However, physiologically the protein TNIK (TRAF2 And NCK Interacting Kinase) is found to be widely associated with CRC and is also over expressed. Glycyrrhizaglabra is an herbal plant with lots of known medicinal properties. Glycyrrhizaglabra has 45 known phyto-compounds (PCs). In the present investigation all the 45 PCs have been put to in silico processes including docking and DFT (Density Functional Theory) analysis to find out the PCs that best stop over-expression of the TNIK protein in colorectal cancer. Glabroiso-flavanone B and Glabridin are found to be champion molecules of this plant against CRCs. Phytos are natural source hence are peerless in drug discovery; functional food and in synergistic therapeutics.

Psoriasis is a skin disease. It is rare growing disease around the world. Here in this investigation we have targeted a protein namely TRPV3 (Transient receptor potential cation channel, subfamily III) ion channel for the study of psoriasis, which is important factor of psoriasis. The medicinal plant namely Cassia fistula is selected for the in silico investigation. 39 phyto compounds as reported in various research papers are taken for study. Out of 39 phytochemicals, Chrysophanol compound showed highest binding affinity of-7.58kcal/mol having 3 conventional Hydrogen bonds with TRPV3 protein and is found to be a better natural compound as compared to other reported drugs generally used to for the psoriasis. This investigation will lead to more and better findings leading to drug discovery & use as functional food.

Clinical examination, MRI and arthroscopy in ligamentous knee Injuries: A prospective study

Data from 475 knee arthroscopies performed by an experienced knee surgeon between March 2017 and August 2018 at the IMS&SUM Hospital, Bhubaneswar, for ligament injuries, loose body removals, lateral release of the patellar retinaculum, plica division, and adhesiolysis was prospectively collected. A subset of 100 patients from the above group who sequentially had clinical examination, MRI and arthroscopy for suspected meniscal and ligament injuries were considered for the present study and the data was reviewed. Patients with previous menisectomies, knee ligament repairs or reconstructions and knee arthroscopies were excluded from the study. MRI was requested for confirmation of diagnosis and for additional information in all these patients. Two experienced radiologists reported MRI films. Clinical and MRI findings were compared with Arthroscopy as the gold standard. A thorough clinical examination along with KT-1000 performed by a skilled examiner more accurately correlated at Arthroscopy. A negative MRI did not prevent an arthroscopy. In this study, specificity, positive and negative predictive values were more favourable for clinical examination though MRI was more sensitive for meniscal injuries. The use of MRI as a supplemental tool in the management of meniscal and ligament injuries should be highly individualised by an experienced surgeon. Clinical tests used in the diagnosis of meniscal and cruciate ligament damage have limitations and it may not be possible to elicit objective signs repeatedly, more so in a busy orthopaedic clinic and being painful in an acute or sub-acute presentation. An accurate clinical diagnosis requires experience although difficult to quantify. Magnetic resonance imaging [MRI] has revolutionised the diagnosis and management of intra-articular pathology and ligamentous injuries. Being noninvasive and a highly sensitive tool of investigation, early and subtle changes in the soft tissues often are picked up by MRI. Arthroscopy being highly sensitive and specific procedure is both diagnostic and therapeutic, but is invasive. The aim of this study was to correlate the different modalities of diagnosis with arthroscopy as the gold standard and whether a negative MRI could justifiably deny an arthroscopy.

... Adding to that learners' perception varied significantly based on their courses and levels of achievements (Huang, 2016), with high achievers finding blended courses more satisfying, engaging, and convenient compared to low-achieving students (Owston et al., 2013). Mahato et al., (2021) confirmed average level of attitude towards blended learning among postgraduate students of Purulia, West Bengal, with no significant difference with respect to the different variables taken, except for the streams they were pursuing. Anderson et al.
