Objectives : Treatment using foods has already been recorded since the time of Zhou Dynasty of China. Modifications in the cooking process of medicinal food or manufactural process of herbal medicines are accompanied by the alterations in the ingredients that affect the actual efficacies of medicinal food or herbal medicine, and may have marked effects on the patients including the difficulties that may be experienced in consuming the food or taking the medicine. Therefore, systemic management is essential in such processes. Accordingly, management of such knowledge system must be standardized and conveniently administered by grafting IT technology. This study aims to overcome the problem of the failure of the knowledge system on the material-oriented medicinal herbs to apply the knowledge on the cooking process that impart marked influence on the actual efficacies of the medicinal herbs. Methods : Therefore, analysis of the cooking process or manufacturing processes of prescriptions was executed by using the morphological analysis method in natural language. In this study, we aimed to make data structure of the terminologies that represent manufacture process of prescription and medicinal food. The data structure is combinations of smallest unit in natural language. We made the database by analyzing morpheme of the natural language to express the manufacture process of prescription and medicinal food. Results & Conclusions : As the results, we can express making process of Cheonjin-won, Guseon-wangdogo and Sanyagbaegboglyeongtalagjuk in DB. It was concluded that the development of DB through the extraction of a total of 15 types of concepts including `order`, `action` and `continuous action`, etc. was helpful in systematization of the knowledge on medicinal herbs including the manufacturing process.

Objectives : This research is aimed to compare the visceral figures published during the Song Dynasty, and to reveal the differences between anatomical and physiological knowledge in the presence of Taoist theoretical background and in its absence. It is also aimed to discuss the theoretical differences among existing medicines. Methods : First, we will find the commonalities and the differences in the drawings describing the internal organs of a human body in the two publications, and study what made such commonalities and differences and how they affected medical theories. Secondly, we will analyze and update the internal organ data specified in the two publications as it relates to the five viscera and six bowls. Finally, we will analyze the commonalities and the differences, and study the background and the significance of medical theories. Results & Conclusions : 1. The positions of the liver and the spleen in the drawing of the Yanluozi's and Huatuo's visceral figures are inverted in the drawing of the Huatuo's visceral figures. The positions of other internal organs are similar. 2. The section of the five viscera in the Yanluozi's and Huatuo's visceral figures describes the Taoist gods necessary to build up discipline by the means of meditation. 3. In the Zhutidian's visceral theory, a belly button is recognized as a very important organ for the activity of life. 4. In the Huatuo's visceral figures, the 'Zangzhen' generated from foods is described as the energy source for the vitality of the five viscera. 5. The Huatuo's visceral figures mentioned the functionality of a gall bladder and an Tripple Energizer, which was not mentioned in the Yanluozi's and Huatuo's visceral figures. 6. Both the "Yanluozi's and Huatuo's visceral figures" and the "Huatuo's visceral figures" specify that the moisture filtered through small intestines turns into urine.

Objectives : I hope this prescription configuration analysis among Liuhejian`s and Lidongyuan`s books and "Hejijufang" would explain the differences among Liuhejian`s and Lidongyuan`s theories against Hejijufang. Methods : I have searched for frequently used herbs combinations in the books and compared each features with others. And then I`d like to find out similar prescription by comparing composition ratio of configuring herbs. Conclusions : (1) In the composition ratio of configuring each of herbs Liuhejian`s composition ratio of configuring herbs is higher than "Hejijufang" and Lidongyuan`s prescriptions. (2) Lidongyuan`s tendencies are about `stimulate qi`, `removal of fever`, `removal of damp` and `supplement of yin`. Liuhejian`s tendencies are about `removal of fever` and `removal of wind`. Tendencies of "Hejijufan" are about `heat up inside` and `supplement of blood`. As I compared Lidongyuan`s prescriptions with Liuhejian`s, Lidongyuan`s tendencies are about `raising yang`, `supplement of qi`, `stimulation qi` and `promotion of digestion`. Liuhejian`s tendencies are about `removal of fever` and `removal of wind`. (3) I could prove that Liuhejian and Lidongyuan had created new theories against tendency of Hejijufang.

Objectives : I`d like to mimic JunChenZuoShe Theory as Herb weight ratio grade. And than analyze the characteristics of the prescription based on the Herb weight ratio grade from Taepyeonghyeminhwajegukbang, Somunsunmyungronbang and Nansilbijang. Methods : At first, we have changed herb informations to Herb weight ratio. The second we have decided the ranking of herb weight ratio. The third we have entered herb weight ratio grade. Finally we have counted frequency of first grade herb from the Taepyeonghyeminhwajegukbang, Somunsunmyungronbang and Nansilbijang. Results : We could use a new search function to find prescription by herb weight ratio grade. And than we could find out prescription efficacy rate of the ancient documents. Conclusions : We have entered herb weight ratio grade values by herb weight ratio ranking of top 10%, 30%, 60%. So we could find out that buqi(補氣) efficacy is used most often in the Taepyeonghyeminhwajegukbang, Somunsunmyungronbang and Nansilbijang. In the rate of qingrezaoshi(淸熱燥濕) efficacy, fasanfengre(發散風熱) efficacy, fasanfenghan(發散風寒) efficacy, Nansilbijang is higher than Taepyeonghyeminhwajegukbang. In the rate of qingrezaoshi(淸熱燥濕) efficacy, gongxia(攻下) efficacy, Somunsunmyungronbang is higher than Taepyeonghyeminhwajegukbang.
