Background: Stereotypical beliefs and gender biases play a limiting and discouraging role in the development of women's entrepreneurship, which can have a significant impact on women's willingness to become entrepreneurs. Methods: This research aims to identify and analyze the gender-based limitations affecting the entrepreneurial opportunities of female entrepreneurs using a mixed-methods approach. This research is applied in terms of its objective. In the qualitative phase, 14 experts were selected using a purposeful sampling method. Data collection was conducted through library studies and semi-structured interviews. In this section, the data were analyzed in three stages: open, axial, and selective coding, which resulted in the identification of 51 indicators and 12 components. The research questionnaire was designed based on these indicators. In the quantitative section, the statistical population was all female entrepreneurs in the pharmaceutical companies under study, which totaled 425 people. Using Cochran's formula and a simple random sampling method, 170 people were selected as the sample size. Data collection was carried out using a researcher-made questionnaire, whose reliability was confirmed with a Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.89 and validity using expert opinion. Data analysis was performed using SPSS23 and PLS3 Smart software. Results: Based on the research findings, 12 components of social, cultural, economic, educational, legal, behavioral, personality, individual, commercialization, knowledge enhancement, entrepreneurial awareness, and market recognition limitations were identified under the title of dimensions and components of gender-based limitations affecting women's entrepreneurial opportunities. Purpose: The impact of mindfulness has been thoroughly examined across various disciplines, including neuroscience and cognitive science, demonstrating significant effects on elements such as attention, cognitive control, decision-making, and mental well-being. Concurrently, innovative business concepts are crucial in constructing efficient enterprises. As a result, there has been a continuous effort to enhance entrepreneurial processes in recent years. This research investigates the role of mindfulness and alexithymia in generating new business ideas. The results of this research can help develop new approaches in entrepreneurship education, design psychological intervention programs, and help entrepreneurs improve ideation processes. Also, this study is trying to provide a foundation for further research by increasing knowledge in this field. Design/Methodology/Approach: The research method is a survey, and in a specific sample, research hypotheses have been tested. Data were collected through self-report questionnaires, which include valid scales to measure the desired variables. The research is cross-sectional; This means that the data were collected at a specific point in time. This selection allows us to examine the current state of psychological variables and their impact on the quality of business ideas. The questionnaires included valid and standard scales for measuring the variables of mindfulness and emotional ataxia. The Five-Faceted Mindfulness Questionnaire (FFMQ) was used to measure mindfulness, and the Toronto Ataxia Scale (TAS-20) was used to measure ataxia. With the purposeful sampling method, 64 potential entrepreneurs, with experience or interest in the field of entrepreneurship were selected for the study, and study correlation between mindfulness and alexithymia with the dimensions of generation of new business ideas. Data analysis was done using quantitative statistical methods, including Pearson correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and analysis of variance (ANOVA), by the use of SPSS and AMOS statistical software. Also, the structural equation model (SEM) has been used to investigate the relationships between variables and to test research hypotheses. All stages of this research have been carried out in compliance with the ethical principles of research. The participants voluntarily participated in the research and their information was kept confidential and anonymous. Findings: The findings of the research showed that mindfulness has a significant effect on the innovation of ideas and their feasibility. Specifically, heightened mindfulness leads to improved feasibility of ideas, albeit causing a minor decline in their innovation factor. On the other hand, the

In recent years, decision-making regarding business growth has attracted the attention of many researchers. Also, considering the importance of scale in startups for their survival and the development of economies, investigating the scalability of startups in emerging markets that are booming, can be useful. Scaling for international business has taken on a new meaning: they must be leaders in both emerging as well as advanced markets; they must be responsive to customers in both departments, which require tremendous innovation and agility; they have to build the competency needed in designing, developing, and marketing the opposite for advanced world markets; and they need to demonstrate rapid decision-making, innovation, and opportunism in delivery to the cost-sensitive underdeveloped markets. As a result, decision-making about the scale of start-ups at the international level plays an important role. The internationalisation of start-up activities is an extremely important and attractive topic among researchers, entrepreneurs, and practitioners. But there is very little research and also projects on the internationalisation of start-up venture activities, particularly after the gain of scaling and exponential growth.

Firm's growth has always been the center of attention in the field of business. Economist tries to measure the growth of the firm by sales, a number of employees or turnovers, which could be the case in past years, since most of the firms, were industrial firms. However, in recent years, scholars like Wiklund, Penrose, and PerDavisdsson to show that qualitative measurements are also needed to address different approaches of growth measurements have done efforts. We used Meta-analysis as a statistical approach to show the difference of using qualitative measurements versus quantitative measurements for entrepreneurial firm growth. Our findings confirmed our hypothesis that in samples of innovative/ entrepreneurial firms, the impact of qualitative measurements such as rate of technology changes, are more significant. Therefore, firm growth in entrepreneurial firms cannot captured using only quantitative measurements.

Previous literature has mainly focused on the growth of large organizations and neglected entrepreneurial firms. Unique characteristics of entrepreneurial firms make them distinguished among others and require comprehensive understanding of the growth process and the growth assessment in these kind of firms. Hence, this study focuses on firms in semi-processed food industry in Iran as a fast growing, entrepreneurial industry and tries to shed light on different growth dimensions and measurements in entrepreneurial firms. Data collected from 85 entrepreneurs through questionnaires. We used correlation matrix, Friedman's rank test and structural model to estimate growth dimensions and identify its measurements. Results show among growth dimensions, entrepreneurial orientation shows the highest coefficients and the highest rank in Friedman's test, which means this dimension, is the most effective one on firm's growth. In addition, results of structural model show subjective measurements are also included in growth measurements and they show even higher coefficient than the objective measurements.

Purpose The present study aimed to achieve an integrated understanding of the relationship between the desire of business managers for growth and their behavior towards business growth, with regard to variables affecting this relationship, within the framework of the theory of planned behavior. The main motivation for conducting this study was the lack of studies about the effects of cognitive factors on the growth of SMEs in Iran. In addition, behavior, personality, and specific characteristics of entrepreneurs, which have a great impact on the decision-making process and development of growth strategies, have been less taken into account in previous studies. Design/methodology/approach The present paper reviews the existing literature on growth of small and medium-sized enterprises, theory of planned behavior as well as previous studies on business growth of small and medium-sized enterprises within the framework of planned behavior theory. The conceptual model of the research was compiled from the models of two previous studies. The mixed approach is implemented and the statistical population of the research comprises of the managers of exporting manufacturing SMEs. In qualitative section, data were analyzed using open codification technique and the PLS software package was utilized to conduct the quantitative data analysis. Findings The results indicate that the desire of managers for business growth has a direct and positive impact on their behavior towards business growth. This means that the higher the desire of managers for growth, the higher the level of business growth they would achieve, because the raising level of desire leads to making a greater effort for achieving the goal. In this study, personality traits of managers, business environment features, and business features were analyzed as the factors influencing the desire of managers for business growth. Practical implications This paper will be useful for entrepreneurs, policymakers, and researchers given its results about the effects of the desire of managers for growth on the measures and outcomes of business growth. This study suggests that the business environment has an important influence on its growth, and that the environmental dynamism paves the way for the growth of SMEs. Originality/value Most studies on business growth have focused on economic and political aspects affecting the growth of enterprises, and few studies have dealt with psychological traits of managers. The present study attempted to fill this gap in the literature and add to the very limited number of studies conducted about the effects of psychological factors on business growth. This means that the higher the desire of managers for growth, the higher the level of business growth they would achieve. In other words, higher levels of business growth are indicative of the desire of managers for growth, which itself is influenced by personality traits, business environment features, and business features.

... As an implementer of macroeconomic policy, the government plays a vital role in promoting the high-quality development of regional economies [1]. Under the influence of "economic tournaments" and "political promotion tournaments", the enthusiasm of local governments for participating in the economic construction of their jurisdictions has continued to rise, and attracting investment has become an important way for local governments to compete economically [2]. In the reality of the relative shortage of domestic capital, foreign direct investment (FDI) is favored by local governments due to its technological and efficiency-related advantages [3], which prompts local governments to compete fiercely for foreign capital [4]. ...
