The pandemic exacerbated pre-existing mental health issues. These people are more likely to develop anxiety, sadness, and PTSD. The pandemic may also harm at-risk mental health patients. Pandemic-related financial difficulty increases the risk of mental health issues like sadness and anxiety. The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated anxiety, depression, and PTSD, according to the literature. Social separation also makes accessing mental health care harder. Given the pandemic's increasing mental health service demand, this is worrying. Pre-existing and at-risk mental health issues are more likely to be affected by the epidemic. This research examines the potential of telemedicine to provide care to underserved communities and those needing increased mental health care due to COVID-19.

Situations like Coronavirus (COVID-19), severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) coronaviruses, and the damaged caused by Hurricane Maria in September 2017 in Puerto Rico create complex health public health management logistics problems. Disasters and pandemics often demand logistics planning to involve large-scale transportation of medical aid in the form of personnel and supplies, specialized equipment, and personnel for search and rescue, food, shelter, and other commodities used in massive relief operations. The research suggests improvements in organizational culture, modernization of recruitment strategies, and enhancement of leadership and professional development as approaches to improve gender diversity in leadership roles in emergency public health supply chain and logistics management. This paper provides emergency and disaster public health supply chain and logistics management practitioners and scholars insight into the dynamics of gender disparity in leadership roles in public health supply chain management.

In our society, childhood obesity has become a pressing health issue. Childhood obesity occurs when children are considerably overweight for their age and height. Body mass index (BMI) is used to measure the percentage of body fat; therefore, the higher the BMI, the more body fat an individual has accompanied by the likelihood that the individual is obese. This research aims to address the factors that cause childhood obesity. A total of 116 journal articles were used for the development of this paper; the articles were analyzed and selected based on the occurrence of the following keywords and phrases: (1) childhood obesity, (2) social cognition theory, (3) telemedicine, and (4) nutrition education. The literature review showed a relationship between childhood obesity and body mass index (reduction, the use of telemedicine, and school food gardens). Using telemedicine video conferencing software and adding food gardens to public school curricula may be a strategy educators and policymakers can use to reduce the rate of childhood obesity.

Decades after the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) issued regulations surrounding sexual harassment, hospital medical centers still struggle to identify and implement policies and practices to proactively address and mitigate occurrences of sexual harassment and gender inequality. An organizational development intervention occurred in which all the female physicians completed a climate survey developed to evaluate the hospital's toxic corporate culture around equity and diversity. Survey responses highlight significant issues of concern around diversity and inclusion from the perspective of women in toxic workplace hospital settings, especially for female physicians.
