... In the implementation of cooperative didactic engineering, the idea of a boundary problem (Santini, 2021) is a reconfiguration of the boundary object in the actional perspective of the JATD. Boundary objects (Star, 2010;Star & Griesemer, 1989) refer to the objects through which a heterogeneous collective can start to work together tacitly and with different understandings of said objects. An actional perspective leads to an interest in the practices and problems that these practices work on 'behind' the object (Gargani, 2009), i.e. here to boundary problems from which researcher-teacher cooperation can be initiated and developed. ...
