The results indicated that there appear to be three major stages during older adults' technology learning processes ( Figure 1): 1) adoption (i.e., deciding to use a new feature, application, or device), 2) onboarding (i.e., starting their initial use of a technology after deciding to use it), and 3) maintenance (i.e., the continuation of use of the technology [26,51]).
