p>The hash-tag #gagalkanomnibuslaw used by the twitter "social media '' users appears as a form of virtual protest of Indonesian people aiming at the Indonesian government. Information about Omnibus Law (UU Cipta Kerja ) has been growing rapidly on social media since the popularity of the hash-tag increased. Unfortunately, the popularity of this hash-tag has made various information without references (hoaxes) which further confuses the original essence of the Movement. Based on that, The overall study objective is to find out how the false reality created by the hash-tag #gagalkanomnibuslaw is able to move the mass. This is a qualitative study using Jean Baudrillard’s concept of simulacra to analyze the case. The result shows that the participants of the movement were trapped in simulacra, where the false reality of the information in cyberspace was used as a reference in carrying out both virtual and nonvirtual protest.</p

Berbagai media massa online serta individu pengguna media sosial memiliki tafsir yang beraneka ragam mengenai foto tersebut. Foto jurnalistik ini menjadi masalah yang laik untuk diteliti karena muncul berbagai pro dan kontra dari berbagai sisi. Semiotika model Barthes memungkinkan kajian yang mampu menjangkau wilayah kebudayaan lain yang terkait dengan popular culture dan media massa juga dalam foto jurnalistik ini. Hasil dari analisis semiotika yang pertama adalah cara pengambilan gambar dalam penelitian ini dapat berfungsi sebagai penanda. Selanjutnya kesan pertama yang muncul saat melihat foto tersebut adalah jenazah layaknya mumi. Yang terakhir adalah atmosphere yang muncul dari gambar tersebut adalah sepi dan sendiri.

After Hours with Helmy Yahya is a talk show program produced by Inews TV, under the auspices of the MNC Group. But unfortunately, the program was terminated after airing for no more than 2 months. Convergence as a strategy for media companies to survive in the digital era has been applied to the program, but apparently, this does not affect the success of the program. Therefore, the author wants to know the application of media convergence in the "After Hours with Helmy Yahya" program and also to know the extent to which convergence contributes to the success of the program, especially in terms of the political economy of the media. The results of the study indicate that most of the program's income comes from After Hours with Helmy Yahya which is broadcasted via analog TV. It can be concluded that the convergence strategy has not contributed significantly to the success of the program, especially in terms of income for the company

Jean Baudrillard adalah seorang filsuf Perancis dan salah satu tokoh postmodern terkemuka. Beberapa pemikiran utamanya meliputi sign-value, simulakra, dan hiperrealitas. Pemikiran ini ditulis dalam karya awal Jean Baudrillard yang diterbitkan pada 1968 hingga 1981. Sedangkan karya lainnya yang diterbitkan setelah 1981 ditulis untuk memperkuat pemikiran awalnya. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk lebih mengenal Jean Baudrillard dan pemikiran utamanya, terutama pemikirannya mengenai sign-value, simulakra, dan hiperealitas.

Online dating sites have been a common tool for individuals to find and meet new companions and potential mates. Although it has the potential to bring great happiness into their lives, many individuals have been slow to recognize the cyber risk connected to these dating sites such as cybercrime and cyber pornography. The researcher has performed an analysis on an online dating site to know how cybercrime and pornography developed in the virtual world. The researcher used the case study method. Interviews were conducted with five key informants who had been an active member of the dating site to provide information. The result shows that there are three kinds of cybercrime activities which involve pornography content at the dating site. The first is hacking; the second is sextortion, and the third one is online prostitution. The result also shows a cybercrime activity that does not involve pornography content called doxxing.

p> This research is aimed to gain deeper understanding on the stakeholder relation held by PT Timah Indonesia and its changes based on Peraturan Pemerintah No 1 2017. The issue of the PP No 1 2017. The thesis question discussed in this research to what extend the Corporate Capitalism Practices applied by PT Timah Indonesia based on the mining practices in Bangka Belitung Island.The theory aplied in this research is the Stanley Deetz Critical Perspective of organization theory. The theory is explaining about the collaborative decision making between stakeholders in company. The methodology applied in this research is the Critical Discourse Analysis by Teun A Van Dijk. The result of the research is the return of power to Central Government and re – mapping the stakeholders of PT Timah. The position of the Inalum as the agent of Central Government has main function in integrating the informations from PT Timah and other mining companies so that the Central Government will be well informed of the condition on each of the companies. </p
