A new book series presents a modern revision of the Coleophoridae taxa from Hungarian collections. In the first volume the authors revised the Coleophoridae collection of the Carpathian Basin housed in the Hungarian Natural History Museum. The genitalia examinations were carried out by Ignac Richter, checking and when necessary correcting previous determinations. Then the collecting data were recorded in an Excel worksheet and all the specimens received an identification label plus the label what shows the unique digit corresponding the specimen in the electronic database. The curatorial and data sing works were done by Ferenc Buschmann.

The authors present distributional data of 53 Coleophora species less known in Hungary. One part of the records originates from the Coleophora collection of the Hungarian Natural History Museum. These records became available during curatorial work as they were unpublished. The other part is based on records of specimens collected by Ferenc Buschmann and further contemporary collectors. With a few exceptions the identifications based on genitalia were done by Ignatius Richter, who dissected the specimens.

The Coleophora frischella-species group, which includes eight Hungarian species, is revised the authors. Many records of several Hungarian species are based misidentification, erroneous, or unreliable locality data. Recent research has not confirmed of some species its presence but presumably many specimens are wrongly labelled. Those keys based on external characters are given for all species. He analyzed the habitats and the Hungarian distribution of the species. Three species new to the fauna of Hungary: Coleophora paramayrella Nel, 1993; Coleophora aleramica Baldizzone & Stübner, 2007; Coleo-phora variicornis Toll, 1952. Text in Hungarian with 29 figures.
