The comparative research of composition and supramolecular structure of the flax fibers received by methods of a cottonization and a mechanical elementarization under the influence of the cyclic deforming loadings was conducted. It was shown that under the influence of cyclic loadings removal of a considerable part of impurity with the increase in content of cellulose to 80.1% is reached. At the same time, division of complexes onto elementary filament provides the increase in the total surface of material and, as a result, to availability of fibers to the reagents at the subsequent alkaline boiling. X-ray analysis of flax samples with a method of comparison of the normalized parameters of diffraction by crystalline regions of cellulose allowed to establish that degree of crystallinity of a cellulose component of fibers remains constant even at deep purification of raw materials under the influence of cyclic deformations and subsequent boiling. The research of the oriented fibers by X-ray diffraction method has shown that removal of impurity from flax in the course of an elementarization has only weak influence on the sizes of crystallites of cellulose. The increase in the cross sizes of crystallites by 4 - 6% was observed at deep purification of fibers due to the boiling. This phenomenon can be connected with the decrease in influence of a diffraction maximum from impurity on half-width of the equatorial reflex 200 for cellulose Iß. It should be noted that the longitudinal sizes of crystallites at the same time do not change. It was suggested on possible influence of decrease in content of impurity on supramolecular structure of an amorphous phase of cellulose and as a result on the observed growth of sorption and mechanical properties of flax fibers at an elementarization by method of cyclic deformation.

Considers the process of distribution of yarn twist on bulloon in the OE spinning device. Derived a mathematical model to calculate the twist of the yarn at a point of removing from the chute of the spinning rotor. The proposed model takes into account the stiffness of the yarn from elementary/secondary flax fibers under twist, geometric characteristics of the chamber and th technological parameters of the process of OE spinning.

Considers the theory of the process of fiber transition between the serrated surfaces of rotating drams in the fractionation device of cottonized flax fiber on hard and soft fractions. On the basis of the law of conservation of mass balance developed a theory of the process of unidirectional transfer cottonized flax fibers from serrated surface of one rotating drum on the serrated surface of the other rotating drum. Derived dependence for the calculation length of zone of mechanical removal cottonized fibers in the fractionation process and the dependence for the calculation of downloads of the serrate rotating drams.

Influence of rigid Cottonin's fibres on the quality of yarn and spinning process stability

The small amount of rigid undeveloped fibers experimentally were proved to exist in the cottoned linen, that are discretely located along the length of yarn to form the local areas of high rigidity relative to the neighbouring areas, not containing such fibers. The applied coils of twist to the yarn during its formation are distributed along its length inversely proportional to its rigidity. As a result of the local areas of high rigidity of yarn are left slightly untwisted. The higher the rigidity of the yarn's local section is the less its twist and strength. The yarn with the strength less than its tension in the process of formation and winding will be broken. Therefore, the breakage rate in the yarn production process will increase. If the strength of yarn higher than its tension, the breakage will not happen, it may lead to formation of the piece of yarn with reduced strength and the yarn may have low average strength and high coefficient of strength variation.
