The eighth chapter sets the requirements on the procedures of measuring the sound insulation properties in buildings, noise levels, and room acoustical parameters represented with reverberation time and the average sound absorption coefficient. The use of relevant Croatian standards is stipulated, such as the HRN EN ISO 16283 family [9,10,11] for in-situ sound insulation measurements, the HRN EN ISO 717 family [4,12] for obtaining the sound insulation ratings, the HRN EN ISO 16032:2024 [13], HRN ISO 1996-1:2016 [14], and HRN ISO 1996-2:2017 [15] for measurements of noise levels, as well as HRN EN ISO 3382 family [16][17][18] for measuring the reverberation time.
