Research on the algicidal and bactericidal properties of a copper-containing glassy phosphate composition (CGPC) is reported. It was established that the presence of CGPC in aqueous solutions inhibits the reproduction of bacteria and microflora of water [water biology] because a protective phosphate film, forming both on the surface of heating elements and on the surface of the microflora of the water, does not lose its continuity, because the readily soluble sodium components of the composition undergo partial hydrolysis, and prevents the access of oxygen to the microflora of water and water-containing solutions, whereas copper cations effect inhibition of the vital activity of biological pollutants. CGPC can be recommended for water treatment for any purpose associated with water use.

The paper presents the results of studies of the algicidal and bactericidal properties of copper-containing glassy phosphate composition (MSFC). It has been established that the presence of MSFC in aqueous solutions inhibits the processes of bacterial reproduction, water bloom in them due to the fact that the protective phosphate film formed not only on the surface of heating elements, but also on the surface of the water microflora does not lose its continuity due to the partial hydrolysis of the readily soluble sodium components of the composition, and prevents the access of oxygen to the microflora of water and aqueous solutions and copper cations lead to the suppression of the vital activity of biological pollutants. MSFC can be recommended for the treatment of water for any purpose related to water use.

The paper investigates two different protective phosphate compositions for the chemical treatment of water and the use of them with a view to improve quality of “make-up” water in water heating systems. The research proved a positive effect of reducing the corrosive activity of water and the amount of scale.

В настоящее время автомобиль является одним из основных загрязнителей окружающей среды. Более половины всех выбросов приходятся на автомобильный транспорт. Учитывая увеличение парка автомобилей, растет актуальность разработки мероприятий по снижению воздействия автомобилей на окружающую среду. Одним из перспективных решений этого вопроса является переход на электромобили. Для потребителя важны затраты, которые он при эксплуатации автомобиля, т.е. эксплуатационные расходы. В работе рассматриваются возможные эксплуатационные расходы электромобиля и автомобиля с ДВС. Для этого произведена оценка затрат за первые 3 года эксплуатации транспортных средств и выявлены основные факторы.

To increase the competitiveness of carbon steel grades in enterprises, it is necessary to constantly improve the production process. The manufacture of high-strength wire is an urgent area for the enterprises of the hardware industry. One of the most important indicators determining the quality of the wire is the achievement of the specified physical and mechanical properties and microstructure. To this end, the wire is subjected to patenting, which is carried out in special units. To achieve the desired result during patenting, it is necessary to choose and observe the correct regimes depending on the diameter of the wire being processed and the chemical composition of the steel. When developing the modes, it is taken into account that martensite and a significant amount of excess ferrite along the grain boundaries are not allowed in the structure of patented steel. In the course of the work, an analysis was made of the most common carbon wire patenting modes in production, statistical dependences of the designated heating modes of the wire billet and cooling medium on the parameters of the steel wire, namely, its diameter and carbon content in steel, were obtained. An assessment of its strength properties is also carried out. According to the results of the analysis of patenting modes, it was found that certain difficulties arise when mastering the process of patenting steel wires of thick diameters and a carbon content of more than 0.8. Therefore, the solution of issues related to the course of these processes seems to be an urgent task. The results of the studies show the possibility of ensuring the necessary level of mechanical properties of steel in billets of thick diameters during the implementation of the process using lead melt. The data obtained can serve as a starting point for industrial testing and the prospective development of patenting processes.
