Penerapan prinsip Konstruksi Ramping (Lean Construction) dalam pengembangan infrastruktur berkelanjutan merupakan langkah penting untuk mendorong efisiensi sekaligus meningkatkan daya saing UMKM Konstruksi. Hingga saat ini, penerapan Konstruksi Ramping pada skala UMKM masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, terutama terkait minimnya pemahaman konsep dasar dan minimnya contoh aplikasi di lapangan. Jurnal ini membahas program pelatihan pengembangan infrastruktur berkelanjutan yang dirancang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan UMKM Konstruksi, dengan penekanan pada penerapan Konstruksi Ramping. Pelatihan ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan kemampuan UMKM Konstruksi dalam mengidentifikasi dan mengatasi inefisiensi dalam proyek infrastruktur, memperkenalkan Konstruksi Ramping secara sederhana dan praktis, serta membangun kapasitas dalam pengambilan keputusan berbasis data. Berdasarkan hasil pelatihan, peserta mengalami peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam menilai pengembangan infrastruktur berkelanjutan melalui pendekatan Konstruksi Ramping. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Konstruksi Ramping pada skala UMKM memiliki potensi besar dalam efisiensi operasi konstruksi, guna mendorong peningkatan daya saing UMKM Konstruksi, sekaligus sebagai upaya pemenuhan Sustainable Development Goals secara global.

Rural Construction Workers' Well-Being: Past Insight and Future Research Pathaways

Social sustainability, a key aspect of the Triple Bottom Line (TBL), is often overlooked in construction, especially in rural projects, leading to inequalities in well-being. Challenges like labor shortages, demanding work, rapid urban growth, and an aging workforce highlight the need for greater focus on worker well-being, which is essential for sustainable development and aligns with global goals such as the UN's Goal 3 on good health and well-being. This study employs a systematic review and content analysis to identify key areas related to the well-being of construction workers in rural projects and to highlight opportunities for future research. A comprehensive search of top-ranked journals identified 27 research papers published in the past decade, revealing a significant gap in studies on rural construction workers. Most studies inadequately address rural characteristics, often focusing on migrant workers without fully exploring the diverse aspects of well-being. The findings suggest that well-being issues among rural construction workers are under-researched, despite their critical role in project success and the broader implications for economic growth. This review calls for targeted research on rural construction worker well-being, focusing on the specific context of the case study location and evaluating the impact of well-being on construction project success.

Studi Kelayakan adalah salah satu tahap dalam pengembangan proyek yaitu setelah tahap ide dan penyempurnaan ide melalui riset pasar. Ketika ide pengembangan proyek akan diujudkan diperlukan suatu keputusan apakah proyek tersebut memungkinkan untuk dikembangkan. Beberapa tinjauan diantaranya adalah aspek sistem dan teknologi, operasional, legal, pasar, dan finansial. Dalam menjalankan bisnisnya, sebuah perusahaan konstruksi akan membuat pertimbangan bisnis dan proyek berdasarkan tinjauan tersebut. UMKM memiliki kepentingan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan memiliki kemampuan kelayakan proyek dalam hal keunggulan kinerja. Kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan dapat dipenuhi melalui kegiatan pelatihan dan pengembangan. Pelatihan pengabdian masyarakat dan KKN mahasiswa ini dilakukan setiap tahun oleh Laboratorium Manajemen Konstruksi DTS ITS. Untuk tahun ini adalah pelatihan pengembangan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan studi kelayakan dengan tiga fokus bahasan utama adalah kelayakan pasar, finansial, dan studi kasus penyusunan. Ada 29 peserta dari 16 UMKM konstruksi dan usaha pendukungnya di Surabaya. Sebagian besar peserta adalah project owner. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan model problem-based learning. Diharapkan kegiatan dapat berkelanjutan dan menghasilkan rumusan kerjasama pengabdian masyarakat dalam jangka panjang melalui terdesiminasinya keilmuan kelayakan proyek bagi UMKM konstruksi di Surabaya.

The triple bottom line, which consists of the three pillars of the environment, society, and economy, must be balanced to achieve sustainable development. Integrating social, economic, and environmental aspects in construction projects is still a challenge. The construction industry tends to use non-renewable and unsustainable resources with energy values contained therein. One of the infrastructures that need to be considered in the concept of sustainable development is highway infrastructure. Highway infrastructure projects are quite complex because they involve a lot of resources, require a wider location, and significantly impact the community and the government. Environmental, social, and economic issues are just a few of the persistent issues that frequently surface during highway construction. Common environmental difficulties include water and energy consumption, road landscape issues, and wildlife conservation. Social issues are common in road projects and include issues with land acquisition, relocation, and worker comfort. Instead, bid prices and production costs that are elevated as a result of the usage of eco-friendly materials could cause economic issues. This study aims to investigate the TBL factors that influence the construction of sustainable roads and highways. A literature study is carried out by searching articles related to sustainable road projects. There are seven factors and 29 sub-factors for sustainable highway development, according to the literature review. Technology, project management, ecology, materials, government, community, and value system are the seven factors. These seven elements all contribute significantly, are interrelated, and are necessary for the realization of a sustainable highway.

Airports, as one of the important transportation infrastructures in a country or region, play a role in the distribution of goods and people. This study aims to compile variables from a literature review to assess the condition of airport natural disaster preparedness. Airports have good resilience when facing natural disasters. This study compiles literature by collecting references from various sources, including journal articles, proceedings articles, and textbooks. So, there are nine factors, such as safety, infrastructure, passenger facilities, availability and performance, operational efficiency, service quality, and environmental sustainability. and thirty subfactors in assessing airport conditions in resilience efforts.



Fuzzy Logic Method To Manage The Risks Of Oil And Gas Pipeline Projects To The Environment

Pipes are one of the supporting infrastructures that are needed in oil and gas projects. However, oil and gas pipeline construction projects have very complex risks and have a major impact on the environment. On the other hand, environmental factors are one of the risk factors for oil and gas pipeline projects with a value of 14% [2]. The existence of risk factors that are not managed properly will have a negative impact that accumulates and causes a hazard. Therefore, an affective risk analysis method is needed. The purpose of this study is to analyze the risks of oil and gas pipeline construction projects to the environment using the Fuzzy Logic method based on data obtained from questionnaires distributed to Oil and Gas Cooperation Contract Contractors operating in East Java – Indonesia. The results of the analysis show that of the 20 (twenty) risk factors, there are 2 risk factors that are at a high level, namely financial performance risk with a value of 14.9 and contractor experience risk with a risk value of 14.9 and the fuzzy logic method are considered to be used as an effective reference in decision making, this can be seen from the results of the calculation of the accuracy value which shows that the risk analysis system for the environment is accurate with an accuracy value of 0.90 which means the accuracy level is very high.
