The book presents the results of the study of such interrelated components as specifics of the economic space of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation and the nature of the impact of changes in the pension legislation on socio-economic processes in the regions of the Russian Arctic. The first chapter analyzes the specifics of the economic space of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation and identifies the prospects for its development. The second chapter forecasts the impact of pension reform on the economic space in Russia and its Arctic regions (using Murmansk Region as an example). The third chapter presents the results of sociological research into the attitudes of the population of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation to the pension reform. Chapter 4 presents the results of a study of medical and demographic reserves for raising the retirement age of the population of the Arctic zone of Russia. The book is intended for specialists, including researchers, teachers and students of universities and secondary professional institutions, as well as state and municipal employees.
