In order to reduce the peak load in the period of power shortage through power demand side response, it is necessary to evaluate the peak cutting potential of major industries in this region. Based on electricity information acquisition system and big data mining analysis technology, this paper proposes a peak-clipping potential assessment method and process for power demand side response based on the characteristics of different industries, and evaluates and ranks the peak-clipping potential of 17 major industries in Henan Province. The evaluation method and results provide a theoretical basis for studying and judging the peak cutting scale and target in advance.

The sustainable development of China’s economy and society has been restricted by energy and environmental issues. With the implementation of the Rise of Central China strategy, Henan, a populous province in China, is facing the threat of an energy shortage as its economy grows steadily and the urbanization process accelerates. Using panel data of 18 cities in Henan Province for the period of 2006–2018, this study investigates the relationship between energy consumption and economic and social development variables based on the extended Stochastic Impacts by Regression on Population, Affluence, and Technology (STIRPAT) model and threshold regression method. The empirical results indicate that economic and social development are significantly positively correlated with total electricity consumption, although there is regional heterogeneity in this relationship. Moreover, there is evidence for a nonlinear relationship between economic and social development and urban energy consumption. These conclusions not only promote the healthy and sustainable economic development of Henan Province but also provide a reference for other provinces and cities that are experiencing rapid development in China.

With the improvement of residents’ living standards, the cooling and heating load are increasing rapidly, and the influence of temperature on the unified scheduling electricity consumption is increasing. Based on the temperature gradient change, the monthly unified scheduling electricity consumption prediction research is carried out to quantify the influence of temperature on the unified scheduling electricity consumption, and the unified scheduling electricity consumption prediction is performed for a provincial power grid. The example further proves the feasibility and effectiveness of the prediction method.

This paper takes the 18 power grid enterprises in Henan Province as the research object, and evaluates the operational efficiency of Henan power grid by using data envelopment analysis (DEA) which could evaluate relative efficiency effectively. According to the analysis of the problems existing in these power grid enterprises, the key factors that restrict the improvement of operational efficiency have been found. Finally corresponding countermeasures and suggestions have also been put forward.

The electricity retail market reform is the most active field in the new round of power system reform. It is necessary to speed up the formation and development of the electricity retail companies, to study its business classification supervision and development mode, and to improve the management and operation efficiency of the electricity retail companies. Therefore, according to the experience of domestic and foreign retail market reform, this paper studies the business strategy and business development model of electricity retail companies participating in market competition in the opening electricity retail market. According to the policy framework of the new round of power system reform, the classification and characteristics of the electricity retail companies are clarified, and the different ways of participating in the market competition are studied. Secondly, considering the value of users’ energy, the degree of market participation, and the grade of telecommunication, the model of multi-value level of electricity users is established. Finally, based on the diversification of electricity retail companies and the choice of customers, the paper puts forward the differentiated management strategies of electricity retail companies from four aspects: service strategy, management strategy, talent strategy and competitive strategy, which will provide strategic reserve and theoretical support for electricity retail companies.

In order to achieve the goal of I5% and 20% of the primary energy consumption in 2020 and 2030, clean low-carbon modern energy systems must be established rapidly. Based on the strategic planning of electric power resources, this paper deeply studies the development trend of renewable energy power generation in Henan Province, compares it with the whole country and central China and analyzes the peak of carbon dioxide emissions from power generation capacity, which provides reference for government and power industry development plan.

... Moreover, managers' perceptions of environmental troubles as opportunities or threats can affect the choice of green innovation strategies (Sharma, 2000). Management with varying capabilities evaluates the costs and benefits of green innovation practices in different ways; they render heterogeneous judgments concerning environmental issues and execute diverse strategic targeting of enterprise green innovation (Mao et al., 2023;Yang et al., 2023). This unquestionably can affect the efficacy of enterprises' green production (Lara and Salas-Vallina, 2017). ...

... The main reason for overlooking data services is the privacy concerns that can arise from sharing private data. Revenue maximization based on charging fees can be done using ToU pricing, implementing demand response programs, and various pricing schemes discussed before [63,118,119]. Besides bidirectional charging, other ancillary services, like voltage droop control, active power transfer [120], and flexibility services for power systems [121], can maximize the revenue of EVCSs (Fig. 3). ...

... As shown in Figure 2, power factor correction (PFC) and battery management (BMS) are used to improve power factor and battery utilization, respectively. The common base station power supply system is powered by a 48 V DC bus, which is connected to the DC load and backup battery [12,13]. With the increase in power supply distance, 48 V low-voltage DC power supply will not only increase the cost but also cause problems such as excessive line voltage drop, which cannot meet the basic power supply requirements of communication equipment, and have adverse effects on efficiency and economy [14,15]. ...

... Sun et al. [28], Zhao and Wei [29], and Wu et al. [30], respectively, introduced the applications of the SSBM-DEA model, the traditional DEA model, and the DEA-BCC model to the efficiency analysis of the domestic energy industry, and evaluated the energy efficiency of the industry and manufacturing industry in a holistic way. Liu et al. [31] optimized the traditional DEA model and used the optimized model to calculate the industrial energy efficiencies of 30 provinces. The traditional DEA model is the default in homogenous environmental conditions to measure input and output efficiencies, but in real production environments, the SFA Tobit regression model is considered, combined with the DEA model, respectively, in two new stages, and the three stages of the DEA method are used to evaluate energy enterprises' real technical levels and scale economies. ...

... Domestic and foreign scholars have conducted extensive research on the scarce pricing mechanism in the electricity market. Previous studies have introduced various mechanisms, such as centralized capacity markets [1], reliability option auctions [2], decentralized capacity obligations [3], fixed capacity compensation [4], strategic reserve mode [5], and scarcity pricing [6], based on the typical international practice of capacity adequacy mechanism, but these studies only introduce the principles and overall framework of related mechanism designs abroad. References [7][8] have designed new capacity market mechanisms and capacity compensation mechanisms suitable for China's power system, respectively, proposing mechanism design schemes for market operating economic efficiency, energy transition needs and other objectives. ...
