A new level of development of global competition and transnationalization processes leads to increased interdependence of business entities, and changes traditional ideas about the specifics and structure of international relations and factors of ensuring economic security of companies in the world economy. This determines the purpose of the research as determining the features and content of the processes of ensuring the economic security of companies in the context of global competition. The methodological basis of the study is the fundamental provisions of the theories of globalization, economic security and corporate governance. The methodological apparatus of the study is based on: the dialectical method of cognition, systematization and generalization (when structuring the main components of international security of business entities in the economic context and determining the need to study the economic security of companies in relation to the international economic security of the State); scientific abstraction and explication (when studying the interaction of "atomized" business structures (producers and consumers) in the market in the current conditions of socially regulatory division of labor and specialization). The results of the study show that in the context of globalization, companies have to switch to new business models in order to attract capital, generate profits and ensure their own economic security. This is due to the qualitative specifics of the new model of global economic development and the growing interdependence on global factors. It has been proven that, the modern business environment is developing on the principles of a new kind of integrity of the global economic system, which in turn ensures the formation of global determinants of the functioning of enterprises both in the national and world markets. The dynamic nature of globalization processes determines the objective necessity of the essential transformation of economic security of business entities as a functional system, based on its continuous improvement. The features of globalization processes displays on economic security of economic agents were determined considering a new model of world economy development.

Стаття піднімає проблему загострення економічних, соціальних і екологічних криз різного походження у світі. Акцентовано увагу, що світовим драйвером інноваційних і глобальних екологічних ініціатив виступає Європейський Союз, зокрема широкомасштабної ініціативи Європейської зеленої угоди (European Green Deal), яка має зробити Європу першим у світі вуглецево-нейтральним континентом до 2050 року та забезпечити досягнення стану справедливої, кліматично-нейтральної, ресурсо-ефективної та конкурентної економіки. Досліджено генезис та особливості циркулярної економіки як головної передумови забезпечення сталого розвитку всіх суб’єктів економіки: країни, регіону, підприємства. Встановлено, що циркулярна економіка поступово змінює традиційну лінійну концепцію економіки. Для лінійної моделі економіки характерний підхід, де продукти виробляють, використовують і утилізують (take-make-dispose). Для циркулярного підходу визначальним є принцип 3-R: 1) reduce: скорочують використання ресурсів і віддають пріоритет поновлюваних матеріалів; 2) reuse: максимально ефективно використовують продукти; 3) recycle: відновлюють побічні продукти і відходи для подальшого використання в економіці. Вивчено підходи до визначення індексу оцінки ступеня інтеграції циркулярної економіки: The Material Circularity Indicator (MCI), The Regional Circular Economy Index System (RCEIS), The Circular Economy Performance Index (CEPI), A Circular Economy Index for the Consumer Goods Sector (CEICGS), Circular Economy Development Index (CEDI). Розглянуто результати розширення циркулярної економіки для ЄС. Обґрунтованого, що в контексті євроінтеграційних прагнень України державі необхідно адаптуватися до вимог циркулярної економіки, враховуючи принципи та цілі, можливості й загрози. Оцінено поточний стан виконання Україною вимог щодо вступу до ЄС. Доведено, що у поствійськовий період до набуття Україною членства в ЄС необхідне поглиблення галузевої інтеграції; збільшення безмитного експорту на ринок ЄС; скасування нетарифних заходів, що обмежують торгівлю з ЄС. Передусім, у цьому контексті необхідно враховувати власні національні інтереси та торговельного партнеру, зокрема інституціональну (регулятивну) підтримку Україною ініціативи ЄС «Європейська зелена угода» щодо формування Європи як вуглецево-нейтрального континенту та поступову адаптацію поствійськової національної економіки до вимог циркулярної еклономіки. Недостатній рівень розвитку циркулярної економіки в Україні обумовлений триваючою неспровокованою та невиправданою агресивною війною Росії проти України; недосконалістю інституційного середовища; недостатньою вмотивованістю бізнесу. Імплементація засад циркулярної економіки в Україні вимагає системної та комплексної системної перебудови, основуючись на законодавчій базі, впровадженні інноваційних технологій, діджиталізації виробничих та торговельних процесів, фінансуванні екологічних ініціатив, стимулюванні інноваційних екологоощадних бізнес-моделей, формуванні екологічної свідомості суспільства та формування звички ширшого використання сталих продуктів та створення нових способів взаємодії виробників та споживачів, стимулюванні виникнення та освоєння інноваційних професій.

This article generalizes the arguments and counterarguments within the scientific discourse concerning the problems of integrated development of enterprises in the modern market economy. The main purpose of the research conducted is to create a methodological approach to the assessment and improvement of the integrated development efficiency of the Ukrainian light industry enterprises on the grounds of key determinants identification. For ensuring an extensive and systematic approach in this study, a three-step methodological base has been adopted. The interpretation and synthesis of high-quality data through sifting and sorting materials on key issues and subject matter of enterprise development in the context of integration have been conducted. The tendencies of development of the Ukrainian light industry enterprises have been analyzed to identify the key determinants. An assessment of their impact on the performance of integrated enterprise development has been made. The conducted research used the dialectical, structural and analytical as well as structural and functional analysis as a methodological tool. Methods for multicriteria analysis were used to determine the impact of the identified determinants, in particular, the calculation of the multivariate utility function and the normalization of determining factors. The article shows the results of the analysis of the light industry enterprises development with the help of such key determinants as providing of their own raw materials, availability of specialized mechanical engineering, repair base, properly qualified personnel, operating enterprises development. The integrated development of fifteen light industry enterprises has been diagnosed with the help of such main determinants as financial and resource support, intellectual and innovative potential, economic security, risk level, self-integration, the synergistic effect of integrated business processes. A group of enterprises has been identified, which the development level in the context of its integration is lower than estimated by the methods of classical performance diagnostics at the present stage. The group of enterprises has been identified, where integration processes are effective and have prospects for development. It is established that the integrated development implementation, due account being taken of the full complex of its determinants will promote greater usefulness and efficiency of the studied light industry enterprises functioning.
