The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on the Indonesian education system, causing changes in students’ cultural learning patterns and decreased creativity. Schools are restructuring their learning culture to focus on students and adapt to the environment. Indonesian government education system law no. 20 of 2003 mandates cultural values, cultural acculturation, and fostering independent learning. Teachers play an important role in motivating students and implementing a culture of independent learning, which has a positive impact on their learning process. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing a culture of independence in learning at SD Negeri 1 Pangkalan Baru, Central Bangka Regency, Bangka Islands Province. This research uses a phenomenological approach and qualitative methods to collect data and information from informants. The research aims to build a culture of independence, minimize teacher-student understanding and increase effective communication relationships between students. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 1 Pangkalan Baru Central Bangka, Bangka Belitung Islands Province. Data collection in qualitative research includes observation, interviews, and documentation and data can be taken from several sources. The analysis and sharpness of qualitative research is greatly influenced by the strength of the words and sentences used in the literature. The objects of the research were students at SD Negeri 1 Pangkalan Baru, Central Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The results of the research show that at SD Negeri 1 Pangkalan Baru, the focus on independent learning is emphasized through emotional intelligence, cultural habituation, and the character education system. The Pancasila learner profile emphasizes six dimensions: faith, piety, noble character, global diversity, and independence. Independent learning involves creating a study schedule, discussing with teachers, and applying critical reasoning skills. Constructivism theory encourages critical thinking, creativity, and problem solving, thereby leading to increased motivation and academics success.

This study is driven by the necessity to comprehend how the leadership exhibited by the principal and the motivation to work may influence the performance of instructors in elementary schools. This study's primary goal was to ascertain the interrelationships between principal leadership, motivation to work, and teachers' performance in elementary schools. This research is quantitative and employs the correlation technique. This study focused on elementary school teachers located in cluster X within the city of Prabumuih. Ninety-eight individuals participated in the study. The collection of data was facilitated through the use of questionnaires and documentation, whereas the processing of data involved the application of t-tests and F-tests. According to the findings of this study, a positive relationship exists between the principal's leadership and teachers' performance in elementary schools located in cluster X, Prabumuih City. Additionally, it was found that motivation to work also positively impacted the performance of teachers in these elementary schools. As a result of this study, effective leadership demonstrated by principals and maintaining motivation to work play a significant role in enhancing teachers' performance in elementary schools. The constructive conclusions drawn from the investigation into the connection between leadership and teacher performance and the favorable impact of work motivation emphasize the potential benefits of bolstering both aspects to develop a teaching staff with enhanced productivity.

Education is the basic capital for improving the quality of good human resources and achieving success in the national development process in all fields. Education aims to provide various proactive and creative efforts by all components of the nation so that the young generation can develop optimally. School principals play an important role in efforts to mobilize teachers to have work performance, mature coordination, and leadership that is in harmony with the work environment. The aim of the research is to analyze the influence of managerial leadership, the work discipline of school principals, and the influence of both together on teacher performance in high schools throughout Banyuasin I Regency. This research was carried out at SMAN 1 Banyuasin I, SMAN 2 Banyuasin I, and SMA YP Mantra Mariana Banyuasin I Regency. This research uses descriptive analysis. The sampling methodology uses probability sampling. Research shows that the performance of teachers in high schools in Banyuasin I Regency is quite good, but there is a significant gap between the number of teachers and the number of students. The research results show that teacher performance at SMA Negeri 2 Banyuasin I is still low, with a high percentage of teachers in 2017/2018 and a low percentage of teachers in 2018/2019. This shows the need for further research regarding teacher management and teacher discipline to improve teacher performance in high schools throughout Banyuasin I Regency.

The research aims to analyze the influence of school culture, academic supervision, and school culture on the teaching quality of high school teachers in Banyuasin I District, Banyuasin Regency. This research was conducted at one of the high schools in Banyuasin I District using quantitative methods. The population was 121 teachers, using probability sampling techniques. A sample of 93 people was determined using the Slovin formula. The results of the research show that school culture and principal supervision have a positive effect on the teaching quality of high school teachers in Banyuasin I District. The combination of school culture and academic supervision contributes to the overall quality of teacher teaching.

Leadership management involves planning, organizing, directing, and supervising the efforts of members of an organization to achieve goals. Principal management is crucial in creating teaching and learning situations for teachers and students. They provide guidance, assistance, supervision, and assessment on technical implementation and development of teaching education programs. Teachers play a significant role in influencing the quality of education, and professionalization of teachers is essential for optimal service delivery. However, many teachers struggle with pedagogical competence, mastering teaching material, and presenting meaningful learning activities. Additionally, the school principal’s busy life often prevents proper implementation of guidance and supervision, resulting in teachers not showing expected professionalism. Research is needed to address these issues. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Banyuasin III, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province. The object of this research is the principal’s management in improving teacher professionalism at SMA Negeri 3 Banyuasin III. This research uses a descriptive paradigm approach with qualitative research methods. The data in this research was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The researcher found that the principal at SMA Negeri 3 Banyuasin III has been effective in increasing teacher professionalism through planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. They provide guidance, opportunities for self-development, and support for teachers’ activities. However, challenges include the incompatibility of scientific background with the field, teachers’ low interest in self-development, lack of understanding of curriculum content, low use of technology, and low awareness of individual teachers’ duties.

The low quality of education in Indonesia is caused by the low competence of educators. To improve the teaching and learning process, teachers must be responsible and accountable. The school principal’s strategic management values can also contribute to educational improvement. The principal’s role includes planning, organizing, mobilizing, and evaluating resources to achieve the school’s vision, mission, and goals. The researchers’ study regarding the influence of strategic management and principal competence on the quality of teaching at SMPIT in Prabumulih City is quite interesting. This research examines the impact of principal strategic management, principal competence, and teacher teaching quality at Prabumulih City SMPIT schools, specifically SMPIT Ishlahul Ummah and SMPIT Al Hasanah. The study uses a census sample of 53 teachers, utilizing questionnaires, observation, and documentation methods to gather data. The research reveals that strategic management significantly influences the teaching quality of teachers at SMPIT in Prabumulih City, while the school principal’s competency significantly impacts the teaching quality. The combined effect of these two factors is 78%, with 22% influenced by other variables.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of digital literacy and character education on improving the quality of learning in SMP Negeri in Pangkalan Baru sub-district, Central Bangka Regency. The sample size taken was 78 teachers in Pangkalan Baru State Junior High School, Central Bangka Regency. The sampling technique was saturated sampling, where the respondents were all teachers at Pangkalan Baru SMP Negeri, Central Bangka Regency. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires using a 5-point Likert scale to measure 80 statement items. The analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that digital literacy and character education simultaneously have a significant effect on improving the quality of learning. Second digital literacy has a significant effect on improving the quality of learning. Third, that character education has a significant effect on improving the quality of learning.

This research aims to describe the role of the Spensa Pacak Learning House in online learning at SMP Negeri 1 Koba, Central Bangka, Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The sample collection technique used a purposive sampling technique. The research results showed that the Spensa Pacak Learning House played an important role in supporting online learning at SMP Negeri 1 Koba. Most teachers and students use the Spensa Pacak site provided by the school to support the learning process. With the Spensa Pacak Learning House, online learning at SMP Negeri 1 Koba can be carried out effectively and efficiently, thus providing positive benefits for students and teachers, although there are still several obstacles in its use, such as technical problems, limited internet access and minimal role of people. old. This study aims to see how SD IT Ishlahul Ummah Prabumulih implements educational facility and infrastructure management to enhance the learning process. The data collection methods used were evaluation, reporting, and interviews, and the approach used was phenomenological descriptive. The principal, deputy principal, person in charge of facilities and infrastructure, treasurer, teachers, and committee chairpersons were all sources of information. Techniques for data analysis include data reduction, data interpretation, and conclusions. Techniques for data analysis include data reduction, data interpretation, and conclusions. The study’s findings revealed that the use of facilities and resources in the learning process was not optimal, especially for educators. The full support of all school members, particularly foundations, is a supporting factor in the facility and infrastructure management process, while the inhibiting factor is a lack of knowledge of the importance of maintaining facilities and infrastructure among educators and students.

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how the work environment, teacher motivation, and supervision affect public elementary school teachers’ performance in Namang District. This kind of study employs an ex post facto research design and is quantitative. Ninety state elementary school teachers in Namang District served as the research sample. This kind of study uses a research strategy and is quantitative. ways for gathering data using surveys. Multiple regression and quantitative descriptive analysis approaches are used in data analysis methods. The study’s findings indicate that: 1) the work environment significantly affects the performance of state elementary school teachers in Namang District; 2) teacher motivation significantly influences the performance of state elementary school teachers in Namang District; and 3) the work environment and teacher motivation significantly jointly affect the performance of state elementary school teachers in Namang District.
