Berdasarkan Gambar 1 menunjukan persentase potensi tumbuh maksimum kecambah benih padi varietas Inpari 32 terendah diperoleh pada kode perlakuan m4 (arang sekam & abu gosok) yaitu sebesar 89% dan tertinggi pada perlakuan jenis bahan matriconditioning serbuk kayu gergaji (m3) yaitu 98%. Dari data yang diperoleh, perlakuan jenis matriconditioning tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap potensi pertumbuhan maksimal benih padi varietas Inpari 32. Benih padi merupakan benih yang mempunyai isi atau tidak kosong, biasanya berat karena di dalam benih terdapat cadangan makanan yang akan dicerna sehingga dapat mendukung perkecambahan benih dan persentase benih berhasil tumbuh dapat tercapai. Hal ini sesuai dengan pernyataan dari Aisyah dkk., (2020) yang mengatakan bahwa potensi tumbuh maksimum tidak dipengaruhi secara nyata oleh perlakuan disebabkan salah satunya yaitu pada saat evaluasi benih, benih yang digunakan ialah benih bernas sehingga semua

The aim of this research was to determine the type of matriconditioning material on the viability and vigor of rice seeds of the Inpari 32 variety. The research was carried out in April – June 2024 at the Agroecotechnology Integrated Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, ULM. The research used a single factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD), namely treatment type matriconditioning consisting of: m0: control (water); m1: Husk charcoal; m2: Rubbing ash; m3: Sawdust; m4: Charcoal husk & Ash (1:1); m5: Husk charcoal & sawdust (1:1); m6: Crushed ash & Sawdust (1 : 1) and m7: Husk charcoal & Crushed ash & Sawdust (1:1:1). The results of the research showed that the treatment had no real effect on the maximum growth potential of the seeds, but had a significant effect on the germination capacity, simultaneous growth and growth speed of the rice seeds of the Inpari 32 variety. The best treatment was sawdust matriconditioning material which was able to increase the viability and vigor of the rice seeds. Inpari 32

Biopriming Larutan Taoge dan Trichoderma Spp. Terhadap Viabilitas dan Vigor Benih Kacang Nagara

Kacang Nagara dibudidayakan pada lahan rawa lebak Kalimantan Selatan, terutama di Kecamatan Daha Utara dan Kecamatan Daha Selatan. Penanaman dilakukan pada saat air surut bulan Juni hingga September. Mengingat hingga sampai saat ini petani menggunakan benih produksi sendiri, tentunya muncul permasalahan utama yaitu mutu benih semakin menurun. Benih bermutu dapat mengalami penurunan kualitas akibat penyimpanan kurang tepat atau benih telah melewati masa simpan. Penurunan mutu pada benih dapat diatasi melalui biopriming. Biopriming merupakan inkubasi larutan perlakuan pada benih menggunakan mikroorganisme dipadukan bahan organik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh biopriming larutan taoge dan Trichoderma spp. terhadap viabilitas dan vigor benih kacang Nagara. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Faktorial dengan 2 faktor dan 3 kali ulangan sehingga terdapat 36 satuan percobaan. Faktor pertama terdiri dari konsentrasi larutan taoge (k) dengan 4 taraf yaitu akuades (k0), larutan taoge 5% (k1), larutan taoge 10% (k2), dan larutan taoge 15% (k3). Faktor kedua yaitu jenis Trichoderma (t) dengan 3 taraf terdiri dari tanpa Trichoderma (t0), T. harzianum (t1), dan T. viride (t2). Metode UKDdp (Uji Kertas Digulung dalam plastik) dengan setiap gulungan berisi 50 benih kacang Nagara varietas Padi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa biopriming larutan taoge dan Trichoderma spp. berpengaruh nyata terhadap variabel daya berkecambah benih kacang Nagara lewat masa simpan, akan tetapi pada variabel potensi tumbuh maksimum, indeks vigor, keserempakan tumbuh dan kecepatan tumbuh hanya faktor tunggal yang berpengaruh. Peningkatan tertinggi pada setiap variabel yaitu perlakuan larutan taoge 10% dan T. harzianum (k2t1).

Rice production in South Kalimantan during January to September 2020 decreased compared to 2019. The use of rice seeds per hectare is generally still not in accordance with the recommendations. The local varieties of rice seeds that cultivated are from last year's cropping season, where storage was not good which could lead to a decrease in seed quality. Shallots contain hormones auxin and gibberellins, can be used as a natural growth regulator. This study used a solution of shallots on three local varieties of rice seeds. The purpose of this study was to provide information on the use of natural growth regulators in shallot solution as an alternative to increase seed viability to become a provider of quality seeds. This research carried out from October to November 2021 at the Production Laboratory of the Department of Agroecotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture, Lambung Mangkurat University. The implementation of the research is making shallot stock solution, seed preparation, seed soaking, seed germination, and maintenance. The method used was qualitative using single factor Completely Randomized Design with three levels of treatment and each treatment consisted of five replications. The results showed that treatment using onion solution invigoration had a significant effects on the parameters of growth uniformity and maximum growth potential of expired local rice seeds of Siam Banjar variety. The highest growth speed and seed germination were found in Siam Saba variety. The highest growth uniformity was found in Siam Unus variety. The highest maximum growth potential is found in Siam Mutiara variety.

Beberapa permasalahan terjadi di Desa Bentok Darat salah satunya penurunan produksi padi akibat serangan gejala nekrosis dan lesi pada daun dan juga malai yang mengalami patah leher diduga mengalami penyakit blas yang disebabkan oleh jamur Pyricularia dengan ditemukannya miselia putih pada benih padi. Pada wawancara dengan ketua kelompok tani permasalahan ini ditenggarai iklim desa yang terus-terusan diguyur hujan berturut-turut setelah mengalami kemarau yang panjang. Karena itulah perlu dilakukan penyuluhan tentang pengenalan penyakit penting pada padi dan teknik pengendaliannya dengan menerapkan prinsip pengelolaan penyakit terpadu atau mengutamakan keseimbangan ekosistem dalam mengendalikan pertumbuhan dan penyebaran patogen. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan kepada masyarakat petani Desa Bentok Darat dalam mencegah masalah penyakit pada padi dan cara pengelolaan lingkungan yang baik serta pengendalian terpadu. Metode kegiatan meliputi pengisian kuisioner, pembukaan, ceramah, diskusi dan pengisian kuisioner yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui manfaat kegiatan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman tentang penyakit padi dan cara pengendaliannya. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat oleh Jurusan Agroekoteknologi kepada mitra Kelompok Tani Desa Bentok Darat, Kecamatan Bati-bati, Kabupaten Tanah Laut menghasilkan peningkatan pemahaman warga tani Desa Bentok darat mengenai jenis-jenis penyakit penting pada padi dan agen patogen penyebabnya sebesar 85,71%. Kegiatan ini berperan sekali dalam meningkatkan pemahaman petani di Desa Bentok Darat mengenai informasi cara pengendalian penyakit di padi dengan nilai pengetahuan warga desa meningkat sebesar 100% tentang cara lain atau teknis pengendaliannya menggunakan POC plus, pestisida nabati dan agensia hayati. Seratus persen responden menjawab kegiatan ini menimbulkan rasa senang karena memperoleh manfaat dalam peningkatan informasi dan pengetahuan dalam mengetahui jenis penyakit padi dan cara pengendaliannya. Community Service: Introduction to Rice Plant Diseases and Their Control Techniques in Bentok Darat Village, Bati-bati, South Kalimantan One of the problems that occurred in Bentok Darat Village was a decrease in rice production due to attacks of symptoms of necrosis and lesions on leaves and panicles with broken necks suspected of being affected by blast disease caused by Pyricularia fungus with white mycelia found in rice seeds. In an interview with the head of the farmer group, it is suspected that the climate in the village continues to rain after experiencing a long dry season. Therefore it is necessary to carry out counseling about the introduction of important diseases in rice plants and their control techniques by applying the principles of integrated disease control or prioritizing ecosystem balance in controlling the growth and spread of pathogens. This activity aims to provide insight to the farming community of Bentok Darat Village in preventing rice disease problems as well as good environmental management and integrated control. Activity methods include filling out questionnaires, opening, lectures, discussions and filling out questionnaires which aim to find out the benefits of activities in increasing understanding of rice diseases and how to deal with them Community service activities by the Department of Agroecotechnology for Farmer Group partners in Bentok Darat Village, Bati-bati District, Tanah Laut Regency resulted in an increase in information and knowledge of the farmers in Bentok Darat Village regarding important types of diseases in rice and their causative pathogens by 85.71%. This activity played a major role in increasing the knowledge of farmers in Bentok Darat Village regarding the information on how to control diseases in rice with the value of the villagers' knowledge rising by 100% about other methods or control techniques using POC plus, vegetable pesticides, and biological agents. One hundred percent of respondents answered that this activity caused a sense of pleasure because it benefited from increasing information and knowledge about the types of rice diseases and how to control them

Anthracnose is a disease that attacks and is very feared in chili cultivation. The low production and productivity of chili plants is caused by this disease. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness and concentration of noni leaf pesticides on the control of anthracnose. This research was arranged using a completely randomized design (CRD) with one factor, namely the treatment of giving concentrations of vegetable pesticides and noni. The treatment consisted of 6 levels of treatment, namely DM0 = Control (0 ml Noni leaf extract solution), DM1 = Noni leaf extract solution 5 g/100 ml water, DM2 = Noni leaf extract solution 10 g/100 ml water, DM3 = Leaf extract solution noni 15 g/100 ml water, DM4 = Noni leaf extract solution 20 g/100 ml water, FS = synthetic fungicide as positive control. The experiment was carried out 4 times, so that 24 experimental units were obtained. The results showed that noni leaf pesticides were effective in controlling anthracnose in cayenne pepper plants with an effective concentration found in DM4 treatment with 20 g/100 ml of water extract solution of noni leaf.

Biodiversitas 23: 5367-5372. Stenochlaena J. Smith is belonging to the family of Blechnaceae, consisting of only seven species and widely distributed in tropical and subtropical regions. In Central Kalimantan Indonesia, Stenochlaena is also widely distributed and abundant in this province. The paper will deliver the diversity of species, and chemical composition value of Stenochlaena in Central Kalimantan. The method used was a survey conducted in the tree district of Central Kalimantan namely Barito Selatan, Kapuas, and Palangka Raya. The key to species determination used was a paper published by Chamber (2013). Chemical composition was measured by proximate analysis while elemental content was established by atomic absorption spectrophotometer. This is the first report on the proximate and element components of some Stenochlaena species, other than Stenochlaena palustris. The results showed that there were four species of Stenochlaena found in Central Kalimantan, namely Stenochlaena palustris, Stenochlaena tenuifolia, Stenochlaena milnei and Stenochlaena cumingi. Stenochlaena palustris had the greatest moisture and proteins while S. cumingii had the highest content of ash. The biggest content of lipids was owned by S. milnei meanwhile S. tenuifolia had the most content of fiber. Stenochlaena palustris also had the highest N, P, K, Mg meantime, the highest Ca and Fe were in S. cumingii and S. milnei, respectively.

Edamame, as an essential food ingredient, has the potential to be developed with a high level of market demand every year. The ability of edamame cultivated on all types of soil has the opportunity to be introduced to the residents of Cempaka Village, Banjarbaru. The introduction of integrated pest control-based cultivation and land management using compost media from agricultural waste by considering environmental sustainability needs to be conveyed and later applied to build environmentally friendly sustainable agrarian concepts. The purpose of this Community Service Activity is to educate and train the skills of the people of Cempaka Village, Banjarbaru City, regarding organic edamame cultivation to improve the quality of edamame cultivation and production sustainably. The method used in this activity is a classical approach in the form of lectures and distributing knowledge questionnaires before and after the extension material. The results of the pre-activity questionnaire showed that 65% of participants only knew about edamame, compost, and organic fertilizers but not about integrated pest control techniques. After the activity, participants' knowledge increased by approximately 100%, hoping that the Cempaka Village community could apply it in the field.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi antara varietas dan konsentrasi larutan ekstrak tauge terhadap vigor dan viabilitas benih padi, serta mengetahui konsentrasi larutan tauge terbaik terhadap viabilitas benih padi. Menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan faktorial. Faktor pertama varietas padi yaitu V1=Inpari 30, V2=Balimau, V3=Siam Epang dan faktor kedua konsentrasi larutan tauge yaitu K1=10%, K2=20%, K3=30% yang diulang sebanyak 3 (tiga) kali, sehingga diperoleh 27 satuan percobaan. Invigorasi benih dalam larutan tauge dengan konsentrasi 10% pada varietas padi Siam Epang (K1V3) merupakan perlakuan terbaik dan mampu meningkatkan potensi tumbuh, daya berkecambah dan keserempakan tumbuh. Perendaman benih pada konsetrasi 10% larutan ektrak tauge dan varietas Siam Epang merupakan perlakukan faktor tunggal terbaik untuk kecepatan tumbuh.

Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat adalah untuk mengenalkan dan meningkatkan pengetahuan serta keterampilan masyarakat khususnya di Desa Liang Anggang Kecamatan Bati-Bati mengenai intensifikasi pekarangan guna memenuhi kebutuhan gizi pada masa pandemic Covid-19. Metode yang dilakukan berupa penyuluhan atau ceramah kepada masyarakat desa Liang Anggang. Pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pemanfaatan pekarangan dalam pemenuhan gizi keluarga semakin bertambah. Pemanfaatan pekarangan perlu ditata dengan mengedepankan keberagaman spesies untuk kebutuhan dapur, sehingga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan gizi dan memperbaiki gizi keluarga di masa pandemi covid 19.


Effect of The Type Impermeable Storage Container on The Quality of Rice Seeds

Rice as a food source that provides carbohydrates for the people of Indonesia, especially South Kalimantan, needs to be increased in production so that the community's needs can be met. The quality of seeds will determine the productivity and quality of seeds. Storage treatment is one way that can be done to maintain seeds until the seeds are planted, but storage treatment that is too long will cause seed deterioration or seed viability to decrease. The decline in seed quality caused by keeping in open spaces storage causes fluctuations in temperature and humidity due to direct interaction with the environment. Efforts to control factors that can affect the rate of seed deterioration can be executed, among others, by using an impermeable storage container. Impermeable storage containers do not support the exchange of air from the environment to the inside of the storage container. The purpose of this study was to determine which type of impermeable storage container is best for the quality of rice seeds. The research has been at the Laboratory of Center for Supervision and Certification of Food Crops and Horticulture Seeds, South Kalimantan Province, Banjarbaru City and used a one-factor CRD with w0 (+) (cans), w0 (-) (plastic sack), w1 (glass jars), w2 (plastic jars) and w3 (aluminum foil). The results of the study indicated that the use of impermeable storage containers had a significant effect on moisture content, germination, and maximum growth potential of rice seeds. The use of the best impermeable storage container for the moisture content of rice seeds in the storage period of 45 days after storage (das) was found in the w3 treatment (aluminum foil) of 11.63%, while the parameter of germination in the 15 das was 63.83%, the maximum growth potential in the storage period of 45 and 90 das was found in the w1 treatment (glass jar) of 73.50% and w0 (+) (cans) of 70.69%.
