As industries the shift from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0, focusing on the integration of advanced technologies becomes increasingly apparent. Artificial intelligence (AI) emerges as a pivotal component in this evolution, offering new avenues for enhancing productivity and quality in manufacturing processesThis study provides a comprehensive survey of AI-based methods, applications, and challenges within the context of Industry 5.0. The results of the article reveal that AI is essential in driving efficiency and innovation across various industrial sectors, enabling predictive maintenance, autonomous decision-making, and adaptive production processes. However, the study also identifies limitations associated with AI integration, including concerns regarding privacy of data, security measures, and ethical implications, as well as potential job displacement. Despite these challengesthe potential for transformation through AI in Industry 5.0 underscores the need for effective management and consideration of workforce implications to maximize its benefits.
