According to the data driving character of highway simulation system, the data model and implement method are discussed. The construction of object-relational data model solves the problem of dynamic management and the connection of simulation resource. The client/server architecture based on COM is proposed to meet the requirement of data encapsulation and data share. The formalization expresses of simulation model are given and the construction modes are discussed. The architecture and model solved the basic problems of data share, dynamic construction and complex entity management.
