Two new species of the genus Hamataliwa (Araneae: Oxyopidae) from the Gaoligong Mountains area, Yunnan Province, China are described: Hamataliwa cucullata sp. nov. (male, female) and Hamataliwa torsiva sp. nov. (female). Photos of the morphological appearances and illustrations of the genital organs are provided.
The lynx spiders (Araneae: Oxyopidae) from the tropical forests of Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province, China were studied. A total of three genera and 16 species were examined and studied, including 10 new species from two genera: Hamataliwa foveata sp. nov., H. manca sp. nov., H. menglunensis sp. nov., H. oculata sp. nov., H. pedicula sp. nov., H. pentagona sp. nov., H. pilulifera sp. nov., H. submanca sp. nov., Oxyopes complicatus sp. nov. and O. submirabilis sp. nov. Hamataliwa subhadrae (Tikader, 1970) comb. nov. is transferred from Oxyopes Latreille, 1804. The females of Oxyopes mirabilis Zhang, 2005 and O. tenellus Song, 1991 are described for the first time. Hamadruas hieroglyphica (Thorell, 1887) and Hamataliwa subhadrae (Tikader, 1970) are newly recorded from China. The species Oxyopes bianatinus Xie & Kim, 1996 is considered a junior synonym of Oxyopes fujianicus Song & Zhu, 1993. Oxyopes decorosus Zhang & Zhu, 2005 is recorded from the Yunnan Province, China for the first time.
The crab spiders (Araneae: Thomisidae) collected from Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province, China are studied. A total of 34 genera and 62 species are reported, including 2 new genera and 23 new species: Micromisumenops gen. nov. of the tribe Misumenini Simon, 1895 (type species Misumenops xiushanensis Song and Chai, 1990), Spilosynema gen. nov. of the tribe Talaini Simon, 1895 (type species S. ansatum sp. nov.); Heriaeus concavus sp. nov., H. convexus sp. nov., Indoxysticus lumbricus sp. nov., Lycopus cha sp. nov., L. tabulatus sp. nov., Massuria bandian sp. nov., M. ovalis sp. nov., Mastira serrula sp. nov., Ozyptila imbrex sp. nov., Paraborboropactus canalis sp. nov., Phrynarachne brevis sp. nov., P. lancea sp. nov., Pistius rotundus sp. nov., Smodicinodes yaoi sp. nov., Spilosynema ansatum sp. nov., S. comminum sp. nov., S. mancum sp. nov., S. ravum sp. nov., Synema revolutum sp. nov., Takachihoa lamellaris sp. nov., T. tumida sp. nov., Talaus sulcus sp. nov., Tmarus gladiatus sp. nov. Male Epidius bazarus (Tikader, 1970), male Paraborboropactus rhombus Tang and Li, 2009, female Smodicinodes schwendingeri Benjamin, 2002 are described for the first time.
The crab spiders (Araneae: Thomisidae) collected from Hainan Island, China are studied. A total of 25 genera, 43 species are reported, including 12 new species, two new combinations and one new synonym. The new species are: Borboropactus brevidens sp. nov., Borboropactus edentatus sp. nov., Borboropactus longidens sp. nov., Lycopus longissimus sp. nov., Lysiteles furcatus sp. nov., Lysiteles leptosiphus sp. nov., Oxytate multa sp. nov., Ozyptila biprominula sp. nov., Paraborboropactus liangweii sp. nov., Paraborboropactus oblatus sp. nov., Thomisops altus sp. nov., Thomisus eminu- lus sp. nov. The species Philodamia gongi (Yin et al, 2004) comb. nov. is transferred from Tmarus and Sinothomisus hainanus (Song, 1994) comb. nov. from Xysticus. The species Lysiteles guangxiensis He & Hu, 1999 is a junior synonym of Alcimochthes limbatus Simon, 1885. The true females of B. hainanus Song, 1993 and Lysiteles minusculus Song & Chai, 1990 are described for the first time.
Four new and three known crab spider species of the genus Tmarus are reported from the Xishuangbanna Rainforest of Yunnan, China: T. byssinus sp. nov., T. hastatus sp. nov. male only), T. spicatus sp. nov. (female only), T. undatus sp. nov. (female only), T. menglae Song and Zhao, 1994, T. songi Han and Zhu, 2008 and T. taiwanus Ono, 1977. The male of T. menglae is described for the first time. The type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing.
This study deals with three new crab spiders, Alcimochthes meridionalis sp. nov., Lycopus primus sp. nov. and Oxytate capitulata sp. nov., all from Xishuangbanna Rainforest, Yunnan, China. The genus Lycopus Thorell, 1895, formerly described from females only, is reported from China for the first time in both sexes.

The genus Cebrenninus is recorded from China for the fi rst time. Two species are synonymized: Cupa kalawitana Barrion & Litsinger, 1995 = Cebrenninus rugosus Simon, 1887; Philodromus longitibiacus Yin, Peng & Kim, 1999 = Epidius gongi (Song & Kim, 1992). Detailed morphological characters, the distribution map, photos and illustrations of genital organs are presented.
