... Untapped "blue" resources for various uses are abundant in marine environments. Greenland halibut may be a new alternative to provide collagen for conventional cosmetic applications because skins from halibut species are a very abundant by-product in fisheries due to its high volume of fishing [37,38].In this study, the collagen isolated from the skin of the Greenland halibut was used as a raw material for a cosmetic formulation.
