... Nevertheless, none of the enlisted variables was considered in relation to other cofounding variables that can mediate or moderate the association. Another study concluded that even though organisational factors are signi cant antecedents of university academic staff research productivity, some of its elements (such as technological progress and possession of computer skills) were more signi cant antecedents than others (Hiire et al., 2020).
